I messed up the Focus tree for this one, don't go down the ''policy of collective security'' path and focus on your military or anything else for that matter :)
Trying this on Hardcore at the moment. Unable to pull back the Flak 88's as they keep disconnecting from the towing trucks. 😖 So I see you don't have to pull troops back. I'll move the 2nd line up to the 1st line instead.
Yeah I can relate, tried to pull back all my troops to second line in the first run, however that was a costly price. So I decided to make the 2nd line go too my 1st line :) However, be careful so that something like 1:07:53 doesn't happen :(
good video, i like this game, the thing that dev make your scroll wheel as to assign worker in every building is new to game these days, most game nowdays only have that as zoom-in/out feature. i just hope they add more round since for now (beta) its feel so short to end just 14 round.
I agree, haven't started a new run yet, but I really like the concept. The scroll wheel for assigning workers is refreshing, there's a bit of exploration going on and a lot of mechanics that are new (to me). Looking forward to the new release, and lets hope it indeed has more then 14 rounds :)
Wait, what happened to the three comanches that attack just before the first A-10s? They attack almost exactly the same time you can possibly build the first gatling turret.
I believe those 3 commanches don't attack whenever you have 2 base defences (that can attack air). My playthrough as Demolition General display this best: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5ahYzeMFCp0.html (start watching from 1:35 as soon as those 2 defences are up, the commances just sit there and dissapear)
@@StoryChallenger Playing this just yesterday I prioritised air defences because of the problem comanches were causing me. I managed to get 3 gatling turrets up in time, but the comanches still attacked, so I'm not quite sure what I'm doing wrong.
@@StoryChallenger Same, must be some kind of AI trigger but I can't figure it, and it feels almost impossible with the comanches on top of everything else
@@Fluffyudders Did you attempt placing the structures in the same places as I did? I have used the same setup for most of these challenge runs, and they only attacked a couple of times.
Interesting this only got uploaded a few days ago, I just tried this challenge a few times and considered it ridiculously hard because of how fast she attacks.
It is quite hard, you need to get the start just right. Decided to replay this game just a while ago and never was able to beat her on hard difficulty before
bro you are really hot this game is extremly difficult ... the difficult mode made me crazy i cannot belive some people can play in heroic mode. you are a hero lol
This game is called: Command & Conquer Generals: Zero Hour Here's a link to the steam store: store.steampowered.com/app/2732960/Command__Conquer_Generals_Zero_Hour/
If my memory serves me it pops up when u hit backspace, but have to dubbel check it when i get the chance :p quite a handy feature. Also slowing down can help you when facing a lot of enemies.
I understand how you feel man, sadly there isnt a lot you can do due to game design. You can replay previous zombie rush and advancing in the 'main' gameplay to collect more resources and be able to upgrade your guys. ;)
Might be a little late but if you want to, you can keep watching ads for the 100 green things and then rewind or go forward on your phone time then watch them again
I just finished the game myself. Fortunately, I bought it at a discount when the game is already in good condition. Enjoyed it overall. Including the DLC. That joke ending tho (after credit scene).. 🤣 Literally came out of left field for such a dark game.
Same goes for me, bought it not too long ago at a nice discount ^^ I did like the game overal. The ending for the DLC wasn't what I expected at all. Didnt think Jacob would die, and especially not like that! Would have enjoyed another showdown vs Ferris ;D
So,the only thing that changes in heroic difficulty (for the assault style missions that is) is the tank/s they toss at you when you capture a point/line?
@@StoryChallenger did it also on hardcore even putting all the at guns at the approximately same places during the attack. Because of the stupid AI that isnt able to classify higher threats, they were shooting consistently on disabled tanks - pushed back to the base and luckily was able to fight them off completely and gather some points for more reinforcements. But that took ages
Congrats man! The AI really is terrible, They always load an HE shell for that 1 random soldier walking around not caring about the 10 tanks shooting at them XD Good call falling back and getting some reinforcements :)
Haven't beaten it yet. But this definitely got me further. Think I need to upgrade my skills a little further. Does the characters stats count in these battles too?
@@nbenjamin6688 Yeah all skills stats carry over to all the different modes. I recommend farming/doing last zombie rush you can beat. (I thought you can get some farm currency that way). :)
It is pretty hard, and took me a lot of attempts aswel. I Recommend capturing the first line, making a defensive line and repairing as many tanks as possible. Then when you have an adequate force, only cap 2 flags of their second defensive line. And make another defensive line yourself (outside of their arty range) try to take out their artillery and keep capturing tanks and buying troops. When you have a big enough force you can take the remaining flags. :))
What regular level are you on? I feel like I have a third of your total stats from cards but have more skills and I’m sitting in timeline 9 Neolithic. Unless you pumped real money in to get those stats boosted?
Atm I am at timeline 16 battle 3, however I won 2 races, that's why I have a lot of stats (did 10 spins of 10) and because I didn't expect the boost to be that high I never used the other gems I got
Thanks, thanks for the feedback, it's good to know! I won a race two times and it did indeed help out a lot in the progression. Hence why I still have 10K + in premium currency. But I will progress and start uploading once I don't steamroll through it. As a tip on beating the level, the game does tend to lean toward the usage of premium currency. So if you're unable to beat it right now, go play (for example) stage 3-2 of zombie rush and grind out the premium currency till you're able to get more upgrades in.
If you freeze at 0:03, you can see in the top of the screen. (Just below the difficulty levels) "fog of war" uncheck this to be able to play without the fog of war.
