Agggghhhh ... Motor Therapy! I appreciate your time spent recording/editing/sharing your Master of Craft on RU-vid for 'us guys' to learn from. The amount of personal time spent filming your own genuine interest of engine builds down to the root of each detail is inspiring. 1st Gen Taurus SHO V6 ~ 0-60mph in 6.7 seconds 🏁
Very nice! Great detail and content. I wish I had learned all that years ago when I had the opportunity. Had someone build me an engine for my 92 GT and I regret it for sure! But keep the videos coming. I enjoy hearing the journey!
Your Mustang looks great. You can tell that you put a lot of care and love into it. I’ve owned three Fox Body cars and one New Edge and there is just something about the appeal of the Fox cars. In my opinion, I’d leave the Mustang GT decals off. I agree with your thoughts of it being understated but blending well with what you have done so far. That Wild Strawberry paint was one of my favorite colors. I had a 90 in that Bimini Blue, and that was another favorite of mine. You’re doing a great job!
Looks AMAZING great job and you are never really done we always find something more to do I have an 86 and going to do a lot more with mine. Great video✌👊
Beautiful pony! Me personally, I would put the decals on as it would add a nice, yet subtle contrast in conjunction with your black wheels and stripe. Plus if you don’t like them, you can always pull them off. Love all the backstory with the car. Almost done with my fox. Keep ‘em coming 🤙🏼
Awesome videos I enjoy them. I have a 2014 GT however my first love with the mustang was the foxbody. I had a 91 GT vert auto all stock. Wish I had it now but my next mustang for sure is a foxbody. Glad your videos are so educational on foxbody. Keep doing what you’re doing sir. Full support here 👍👍👍👍👍
I'll do my best. The Fox platform had a long production run so there's lots of decent ones still out there. I'm looking for a Notch to start my next build. "Let's get out there and build something"! Thanks for your support!
Thank you and yes, these are Cobra R replica's from Late Model Restoration. I'm running the staggered set with 17x8 w/Nitto Motivo 255/40's up front and 17x9 w/Nitto Motivo 275/40's in the rear. I had to flip the quad shock and adjust the tail pipes (2 1/2 inch Flowmasters) a little but they do not rub front or rear. Love them!!
@@K_Wick_556 Cool! The 89 is a mass air car so engine mods are a little easier. Thanks for watching, glad to answer any questions you run into. New content coming Wednesday.
Great video. Thanks for sharing your projects. I reupholstered my seats with the TMI Mach 1 style kit. It isn’t that difficult but I takes a lot of time and my fingers hurt for a week. 🤣
Trying to get the seat backs over the foam is a lesson in futility 😡. I used dry cleaner bags over the foam trick and the upholstery slid right in place. I really looked at the TMI kit and finally settled on the retro look. I would love to see how yours turns out. Thanks for the comment! More coming next week.
Thanks for the question. I tore the engine down to the short block, installed a new oil pump and timing chain. Moved up to Rotella 10w40 and had 20psi at hot idle. I ran it that way until I built the current 306 that’s now in the car.
You did a fantastic job! As for the aftermarket wheels, I do prefer the Cobra R over the Cobra wheels. And I am a '93 Cobra owner. I'm also in Virginia. I definitely recognize the Antique license plate. 🙂
I was on the fence about them for a while. Glad I finally pulled the trigger. The 8’s up front on 255/40’s don’t rub at all. Out back 9’s on 275/40’s barely clear the exhaust (1/4 inch) with no mods to fenders. Love them!!
