Oh yeah this is gonna rock!! After seeing the Qualifying runs, I was really looking forward to the actual race!! As said in the SMOKEY AND THE BANDIT, " KEEP THOSE BEAVERS GRINNIN` AND THOSE WHEELS A SPINNIN`!" Or something like that.

I really like the qualifying process you set up. That's a great way to set up the races, just like they do in actual Nascar events. This is really an epic set up! I really like the longer track. A lot more can happen in it. One question though. Have you tried racing the Nascar Die-Cast cars with the Rubber Tires? When I raced them on my Sizzlers track they didn't slide as much as the plastic wheels. They "stuck" a little bit more it seemed. Any chance you'll do a Rubber Tire race? A lot of my rubber tire cars kept pace with the plastic wheel cars. Just curious.

1,000 thumbs-up!👍👍👍👍👍 You absolutely got a subscriber here! You had me at the track, but then the awesome Nascar Die-Cast that Hot Wheels made? I absolutely loved those. We have a "Retro" Toy Store that sometimes has these and the other ones that came with the rolling tool boxes, but they sell for between $10.⁰⁰ to $15.⁰⁰ the regular Nascar Die-Cast cars. $20.⁰⁰ if it's a more sought after car and driver. The 2pk sets with the cars and tool boxes run between $15.⁰⁰ and $25.⁰⁰. Again more if it's a car/driver that's more popular. I was lucky to nab a few beat-up cards off of eBay for a cheap price. All in all I have maybe 60-70 Nascar Die-Cast cars. I REALLY REALLY wish someone would go back and make the cars from the past. Like the 60's, 70's, and 80's! I had hoped to do my own channel a few years back. Oddly enough Nascar was my first choice for my races. I had a Hot Wheels Super 6-lane Raceway, and I picked up a old sizzlers track off eBay. Sadly it was more beat up than decent. I wanted to do either 8 cars, 2 wide, 5 deep, or 9 cars, 3 wide & 3 deep. Then do multiple laps, usually between 5 and 10. Sadly it didn't work out. I was hospitalized with pneumonia multiple times which led to a diagnosis of emphysema, then on top of that during another bout of pneumonia I was actually discharged from the Emergency Room and as I walked out I collapsed in the entryway. I had a heart attack. I woke up thankfully back in the ER, a defibrillator next to me and ,y chest feeling like I was kicked by a mule. I was then told I also have heart disease. All of this was right before the world went into panic mode. The pandemic hit during my pneumonia issues. So I was at serious risk. I couldn't go hunting, and on top of that, I also learned that from my years of crashing on 🚲🚲bikes🚲🚲, 🛹🛹skateboarding🛹🛹, a🏍motorcycle🏍🏍accident🏍, and years of 🏉football🏈 and ⚾️Baseball⚾️ my right knee and right hip were in bad shape. I actually was bone on bone, my hip was gone. I had hip replacement surgery to add to it all. Walking was hard enough, now I needed rehabilitation to get my strength back. My point is during the earlier bouts of pneumonia when I was stuck in respiratory Intensive care, I had nothing really to do, and I was bored. I learned the Hospital had WiFi and I grabbed my phone, got on You Tube and started watching videos. I also collect Marvel Legends, DC, and Star Wars figures so I got into a few action figure reviews. But then I found this other channel. A Die-Cast racing channel. PLUS they also raced Monster Jam Monster Trucks. I had loved and raced Hot Wheels since I was a little kid. I even had AFX & TYCO slot car racing as well. But these races, gravity drop, 1:64 scale ¼ mile straight-a-way. Basically a drag race🏁. I was thrown back to my childhood. I watched race after race. I found more and more channels dedicated to Die-Cast cars and Die-Cast car 🏎 🏁🏎🏎🏎 racing AND Monster Trucks as well I even found a channel that not only did the 1:64 scale Monster Jams but the larger scale Trucks as well. I still preferred the 1:64 scale but if it's Die-Cast racing I'll check out & support all scales. This is when I decided that I wanted to really get back into Die-Cast cars again and create my own channel. This was earlier on before my illness really took a turn. After the heart attack and the fact that the pneumonia had did a lot of damage to my 🫁lungs🫁, my "dream" was over. I even had issues with getting around the stores. Another issue came when people learned that buying Die-Cast cars was cheap, and you could turn around and sell them for a heck of a lot more money. People started clearing shelves, hoarding cases, paying employees to hold cases and/or certain items. I have a buddy who does maintenance for Wal-Mart and he sees it happening. Every once in a while he'll grab me a decent Auto World car truck. Sometimes a Matchbox. So if and when I got to a store for quite a while everytime that I'd check the Toy aisles, the Die-Cast cars were wiped, and the action figures were wiped as well. At that point I gave up. I still grab a decent car or cars if I happen to be there before they get ransacked by scalpers. I miss the hunt, especially now with how many amazing cars are coming out! The 1984 Buick Regal Grand National from Fast and Furious was always empty, but they are re-releasing it, so HOPEFULLY??!?? LOL. I want to thank all of the Die-Cast car channels for all of their HARD WORK and DEDICATION. You all helped me through some of the hardest times I have ever had, next to the passing of my parents. These channels helped cheer me up, gave me so much fun, and they made it so I really wanted to not only get home, but kick *ss as well!! Thanks again and I look forward to seeing more of your 🏁 🏎 races. Keep them wheels spinning! God Bless and take care.😊

That Lane Automotive is one tough automobile; I reckon I'll have to look for one. I'd like to see how it does in a 4-car race swapping paint, because it seems to be steady like Fat Ass Freddie.

What is a record time for your quarter mile?
@dontblink164racing
@dontblink164racing Год назад
We don't keep a record or have a case of cars based on times like a lot of channels. Too many different tracks for that. That being said, we have seen the 2 second mark beat several times. At first we had sensors set 20' 6" and just recently added that all important 1/4 inch making it 20' 6 1/4". Doing so caused King Kenny to run north of the 2 second mark. So really not sure. I noticed John Force in your case. What's he running? My Force is quick but not like Bernstein.

@DON'T BLINK 1:64 RACING my John Force is case ranked and I will run a time on em when I get back to the house.....I know he's not Sub 2.10 else he'd be in the TopTeir...

Ken straight out the box ain't that fast. He's just a little hefty & has a snug fit on the track with a tiny bit of wiggle room. The only way to speed him up is with some graphite. Still a good car, just a little wide.
