I lived in Santa Rosa a long time ago. I wanted to see around where I used to live. This was a helpful video until it was no longer labeling what road or street they were on, I don't know why.

I was born in Auburn and grew up there. The first 13 minutes of the video are great. I am a bit puzzled by the last 7-8 minutes driving up Nevada Street and a section of Grass Valley Highway. There is nothing to see. Especially after you skipped the best part of Lincoln Way through the oldest part of Downtown.

I was born, raised in Fresno since 1955! My major was anything in electronics at Fresno City Collage.. took all the classes, went to Manchester School, elementary school, McLane High it was called and I took all the electronic classes at Fresno City College. I had a big opportunity offered for a job! So I took a trip to Porterville, Ca. without a degree, I had a big opportunity when I turned 20 to work in Porterville, in the medical electronics industry. I was hired right away and worked for Beckman Instruments and later they got connected with Beckman Coulter in LosAngeles, a worldwide lab medical diagnostics instrument company in Los Angeles for 30 years! I was a travel tech.. home on weekends and worked during the week in LaHabra , Los Angeles! Still living in Porterville and i’m now retired here. Met my future wife here and we lived here up to when she passed away in 2022. I’m still here and love being in a small city. I have a sister living in Fresno still and I visit with her over the years. Every time I go to Fresno, I drive by my childhood neighborhood house, my elementary school at Fresno and Dakota and my neighborhood! My mom used to own her business at Fresno and Maroa at the train tracks called the Tokyo Highlife , Fresno’s first big restaurant and nightclub.. with oriental Japanese food which I worked at! I even went back several times during Christmas to see Christmas Tree Lane! So yes, I get homesick every time.. lots of memories and flashbacks! But I still love Fresno! Hey if anybody lived during these time periods now, I would be happy to have a chat with you and hear your stories! My email is bdspvl@gmail.com, name is Barry! Oh the person from Tokyo, I would like to have a chat with you too! You see my mom and me took a trip to Tokyo during that time to take my grandmother’s ashes there for a ceremony, so I can say, YES I loved Japan. Only problem is I never learned Japanese! Thanks for taking the time to read all this!

Excellent video to help us understand about the terminals at SMF. Thanks! Wish there was one such video to explain about the various parking options at SMF - garage, daily lot, economy lots, waiting area etc., as well as the shuttle facilities connecting the parking lots to the terminals.

U won't like fax. Lot of waiting. My best tip take a bicycle and put it on bus rack. Be patient. Read and know schedule. Every route available online. If u see ur connection run as fast as you can to catch it!

Lots of stroads-a street-road hybrid-in Chico at least in this driving tour. These wide arterials feed car friendly business. Not all of Chico looks like this. Nice quiet neighborhoods and a huge one of a kind state park lies right in the middle of town and extends to the outlying areas too. Had to quit watching half way through. Maybe you show some of those areas.

I'm starting to look at places to retire. I want a place that's small (but not too small), quiet and kind of boring with nice weather. I'm not interested in a resort type place and I want to avoid Florida because I have a insect phobia. From what I see here, Lodi is exactly what I'm looking for.
