Hello Everyone! Welcome to my side of RU-vid! My name is Chrishae Powell. I'm a 4th grade teacher in Texas. I post lifestyle and teacher content to share my life as a teacher. I am here to show you the ups and downs and how I am surviving as a teacher during this crazy time. I enjoy interacting with you guys so PLEASE feel free to comment! :)
I truly love watching you teach! Your kids must love you so, so much and your teaching style would have been the best for a kid like me in the 90's! I hope you will upload again soon! You are amazing!
You are truly an amazing teacher! I hope you will continue uploading soon! I just found you today and think you are amazing! Millennials rock, don't we? :D
Thank you for sharing ❤❤❤ Saving this video for future reference. Behavior is definitely something i am always looking to improve and these are some solid strategies 😊
Love your videos and classroom. I’m in my 28th year of teaching and my plan is to give away as much stuff as possible before I retire. Where in Nebraska does this give away happen. I travel through Nebraska every year and would love to be part of that “mess”🤪
Gurl, you are amazing!! This has to be one of the best teaching videos on here. As someone considering going into education, seeing the students' work and hearing you give instruction is SO helpful!! Thank you so so much for sharing (new subscriber here)!! And I am 100% someone who barely gets sleep the night before going back to work😅
Hi Jordan, thank you for your sweet comment. I honestly didn’t know if it was (boring) and too detailed but you definitely reassured me that it helps someone!! Good luck on your journey and welcooomeee!! 🥰
This video was extremely informative and helpful. I am entering the teaching profession and I had a lot of insecurities about it. But this video feels like a big hug. Thank you.
I just found your channel and your room is so cute. I’m a reseller and I have some Hardy boys books and some diary of the wimpy kid books from Goodwill and if you would like them you can have them. Just let me know and I can ship them out to you. I think I have others like that too.
Take a look at 4:35. Your place value chart is out of whack. Thousandths, hundredths, and tenths should be to the RIGHT of the decimal point, with tenths being closest to the decimal point and thousandths being the farthest place to the right. Fourth graders only have to go to the hundredths place, so you may not even want to put up the thousandths. The hundreds, tens, and ones should be to the LEFT of the decimal point.
Booooo to teachers leaving their hoard for the next teacher to clean up. When I moved into my current classroom, I had to remove at least 50 puzzles that had been glued together and nailed to the top of the wall. The entire back wall was covered. It took an entire day and three people to remove all the stuff left over. You rocked your room during set up!!!
@@thezennialteacher just the walls. If she could have added them to the ceiling, I’m pretty sure she would have. I so want to find those pictures. I work at a Christian school. She had a puzzle of Jesus knocking at the door next to a puzzle of former presidents playing cards and smoking and drinking. Nothing about the room made sense lol 😂
Always excited to see a new video from you. Your room is looking really sharp! 🤩 You get me inspired to organize & declutter my house lol. Take care!! 😁
So great to see a video from you again! And I have started listening to your podcast and I love it! 😍😍 Such an exciting change for you to move to upper elementary! I'm sure you and your future students are going to have a great year!
I’m also a 1st grade teacher in Texas and this is my 1st year!! I loved watching your set up videos. What do you put in the 3 drawer bins by the desk groups?
Hey Chrishae! We appreciate the kind words about our study guides. Glad to hear you enjoyed the material and it was helpful! ☺ -Your Friends at 240 Tutoring🧡
I absolutely love this & how you merged a few teachers together. This is what it’s all about, unity! I’m a first year teacher and this touched my heart ❤️❤️❤️
