From the times a Mercedes was Mercedes.Today a lot of cars are made in China/assembled from Chinese parts.Only flagship models are made in Germany.Majority of buyers don't even know it.To hide it the markings on cars are coded.
Wonderful car, my father had a 220 SE Coup in exactly this color with greyblue Leather seats until 1987 when we sold it for 2200 DEM .. it was from 1962 with red direction lights..
Sadly soon all gas cars will be banned in EU and USA! In France they have a new banning law for ICE cars called SCHLABOUBVE and in Switzerland the HESCHLAVVO law! In Scandinavian countries soon there will be a so called SMORVERBIDEN law. In Germany from 2027 the new BABVVO and TEBBVO laws by the green peoples party will bann all gas cars from public streets only exception will be professional commuter trips and state-certified transports)!!!
@@Schlipperschlopper Another not clever EU idea.Presently there are no good,affordable batteries.The lithium batteries are on purpose very expensive and dangerous.In a serious crash there is often a fire (Richard Hammond's Top Gear incident with electric Rimac) + not published crash fires of Teslas.And when vast majority of public will be forced to buy electric car they will simply increase price of already expensive electricity.Nice.
My wife and I purchased a 1980 M635CSI Alpina in Germany in 1985. It had less than 12,000 miles on it. At that time you could get a one-time bypass for smog devices in the US if the car was 5 years old or older, which is why we were looking for a 1980. It came with BBS wheels, the full set of Alpina decals and badges, and a larger soft rear spoiler. It was lowered slightly and had a larger front air dam as well. Same AC unit as is in the one here. It had all the special Alpina engine and fuel injection tweaking, plus a special gearbox built by BMW Motorsport, all of which went together to make it very fast and handle like it was glued to the road. We shipped it from Rotterdam to Charleston, had the minor DOT requirements taken care of there, and then we drove it out to California. What a great ride that was.
The SLK is a great roadster, I have a 2004 SLK230 kompressor, I love it, it’s one of my favorites. They are fun little cars to drive and very quick. Your look like a gem, keep the oil changed and it will last forever.

Kein servo kein abs null knautschzone kein Seitenaufprallschutz keine Airbags und dann wenn mann frägt dann gleich : ja kommt drauf an der ist seit 300 jahren in meinem besitz wurde von besten auf der Welt Restauriert die felgen also die Felgen die gibts nur 2 mal in dem ganzen Universum usw ahahahah als würde man ein Ultra highend kaufen uyuyu ahahahah 500 euro zahle ich komm es abholen 😂 mehr gibts für den Schrott nicht 😂

The MG Midget is currently under valued and is a very convenient, cheap fun motor car. The current prices are unlikely to stay so low as the sources of cars to restore gets smaller and the number available gets smaller. At the moment there are about 3000 Midget 1500 in UK according to DVLA , which is good.

Sadly from 2030 on all combustion cars including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Now they want to slow down all the gas station fuel pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime.:-((//////
