The problem with the original ending isn't that it's bittersweet. The problem is it makes very little sense, and that's why it doesn't work. It's also very rushed. All the cool characters from the future (Jack's friends) are never seen again, they're gone without even a wink of a goodbye. Ashi ceases to exist, but for some reason it takes what seems months before she actually disappears (and at her wedding, for some reason). This ending is much better. Ashi doesn't need to disappear simply because Aku is killed in the past; that would only make sense if Ashi had stayed in the future, with the Scotsman and all the other allies; but as we all know, she time travelled and entered a new timeline and is no longer affected by Aku's death.
I was struggling on this part for a minute, but the last time I did it, I just got on a roll and did the whole thing perfectly. I don't think I'll ever have a gamer moment like that again
Thanks for bringing my childhood back back then I was so garbage playing the this game I didn’t even pass the tutorial level XD few years later I got to play that game again and I beat it was so much fun :D
Damn man this is one of my favorite db games! Why couldn’t they capped it of with the 23rd budokai😫! The game would of been perfect! Especially being one of my personal favorite arcs!
