Carroll O'Connor was a great man and actor. He was completely different than his Archie character. I am jealous of the interviewer. I would have loved to interview Carroll O'Connor and Jean Stapleton. May they both rest in peace.
I think about how he stood up for his son that died from a drug overdose that took a lot of strength back then Carroll O'Connor is sorely missed everyday 💔🙏🏿🕊️
He was a good actor, but Damn i hated that show. As a kid back then we only had 4 TV Channels and had to watch what Pops was wathchin or just go to my room and play, which I did, most of the time with my hot wheels racing set or my electric football game. Man the early 70's were good times!
I cant remember watching original of this show but I discovered it quite accidental on You Tube! The first thing that Archie did to make me giggle was his "raspberry" thing. I was so surprised by it I burst out laughing ! I wonder why he didnt mention it in some of his interviews. Never saw any thing like it Wish I had the nerve to do that to some people I know! The more I watchedAll In The Family the more I came to really love Archie Bunker and Carroll O'Connor. I found I could relate and agree with alot of what Archie was expressing Wish I could have met him in person.! I loved Edith to. Now Im watching Sun nights on METV!
I have noticed through the decades (first when I was about 5-6 years old) that these Kings of the woodpeckers have at least 2 very definite pattern calls they will do besides the regular sounding off they do... I have 2 that regularly visit my feeders mostly later fall into mid spring at both my Illinois feeders and down in the Missouri Ozarks where so far I have only seen one at a time.... The most I have ever seen at one time was 4 about a decade ago... 2 regulars and they were accompanied by 2 others about 3/4 full grown... I'm guessing it was a Mom n Dad and the kids, but I never actually confirmed that... Then again I know for a fact I've had to have fed multiple generations due to them living a (rare) maximum of about 13 years..... I enjoy all the different species of woodpeckers...
