Okay so plss help me out here! my dermatologist gave me the blabon serum(has niacinamide10 %) and i was using it and it did not break me out but then i ran out of it and couldn't find it anywhere so i bought the ordinary one (same concentration) and i'm seeing everywhere that it doesn't work and some people say it does it's been a week i'm using it did fade scars but it's a bit drying so should i keep using it or is there a better and affordable option out there?
I used it for my acne scar and in the beginning it got a bit better I had scars just like you and than I started using it daily at night and although my skin was never acne prone Now I have soo much acne and tge worst is the scars are not going away What should I do ? Should I stop using it and let my skin heal on its on ? I also tried using dark spot correcting glow serum bit still not effective. Can someone plz help me out I am a 20 years I really reret using chemicals on my skin I had clear skin before
if you have a damaged skin barrier, probably stop using ALL products except for a good moisturizer that you know works for your skin. i’ve tried it, and my skin barrier healed in days and now, i can use my normal products again (and, i’m avoiding the stuff that probably caused my barrier damage :)
Ice cubes is cold so technically it will make your pores smaller, that makes all the dirt and sebum trapped inside, pores are clogged resulting to break out. You have to use salicylic acid or lactic acid for clog pores and acne. St. Ives also definitely a no no. It is harsh on the skin becoz of the beads.
Don’t use toner before applying niacinamide !! I wouldn’t suggest using it at all when applying that product.. also I would only use the niacinamide at night And use toner in the day time after washing my face and simply moisturize after .. also use sunscreen always

I also used ordinary niacinamide 10% and idk why it gave me more breakouts. (Before using it i had just 3 pimples then it became like 8.) 😢 I continued upto 3 weeks then stopped because i feel scared to use more since there wasn't any results. Was it becz of the high concentration of niacinamide or anything else...
