Spooled Magazine was born out of a desire to provide anglers with an informative, interactive and aesthetically appealing fishing magazine that was easily accessible.
We live in an online world and after playing in the print world for so long we’ve finally given ink the boot. The digital playground is so much more fun and diverse to play in and we’re sure you’ll agree.
Produced purely as a digital publication, Spooled will take a fresh approach to delivering information - it’s a fishing magazine but not as you know it. In a world where smartphones, tablets and laptops rule, we couldn’t think of a better platform to deliver our product.
So save trees by reading Spooled magazine online and bask in the good karma that Mother Nature will bring to you. We hear she loves the sound of screaming drags too.
I used these with the Team Catfish weight slides to make a ru-vid.comUgkxdmsDj7fQXe77DC0l7P7ua8B3PiESUubM Carolina rig and they were perfect for the ponds I fish. I have also used them to make 3 way rigs and these work perfectly. Haven't had any issues with them snagging in rocks or in weeds yet.
What size hooks and brand did you use. Also I use gents,i.e maggots will try the silverfish and dough one day. Is it just plain dough e.g flour and water or something else.? Thanks
Man this is too bait and really secret so you take extra soft white Brea take off crusts and get some chicken stick and dip the bread in so it becomes like a dough, it is so effective for anything that swims by even pinkies and bream
Hey Squid, we purchased some lay flat hose that was the perfect diameter to fit the scuppers. Cut it to the vorrect length, then had a eyelet fixed at one end and then silliconed the other end to the boat scuppers. The eyelet end can be fixed to the clip on the boat. Hope that helps
Just a thought for you I’d put a link in the description of what his website is and or his product. I actually like your channel so far. You’ve done very well. And if at all possible would be cool to see the what the boat looked like before it was outfitted

Hi Steve, if I’m using a shimano 681 jewel rod 2-4 kg graphite rod with 6lb ultra 8 fireline, which reel would cast longer? A 1000 or 2500 size shimano reel?
literally no difference between the two. you could throw a 4000 reel and still achieve the same distance. its line lure weight and rod action that effects how far you go.
A little trick to make this easier: make a photocopy of the flange, cut the shape out including holes and use it to find a perfect spot for your rod holder on kayak.
