Im so happy women are doing what's right for their bodies. I just want to say birth control is getting demonized I think more than is warrented in the media right now and that can be a little dangerous. I also went off birth control for a year, but had negative affects. I have PCOS, and so after a year I had terrible acne return, painful periods, and the kicker - androgenetic alopecia. I will be going back on the pill personally. Best of luck on everyones journeys & discovery of whats right for their own bodies.
Thank you so much for sharing. I have a very similar situation; I've been on bc since I was 14 and just turned 30! Over half of my life I've been using hormonal bc which is just crazy. I am just about to get off and I'm pretty nervous. Idk why but it feels really scary. Anyways thanks for all the info.

Saipan, an island in the NMI, is a Commonwealth of the U.S. but I always have a hard time ordering anything. I love that you have calamansi in your fragrance. Would love to see more tropical fruit.

Honestly, I had no idea who was behind this brand, but I saw the notes on Fragrantica, and when I saw Calamansi, I had a feeling the founder is Filipino. Anyway, the research led me to your channel. I’m definitely ordering Isla Coco! And I’m subscribing to your channel! I think alluding back to your roots with notes from the Philippines will make your brand unique from a lot of brands out there. i don't want to be on birth control at all! i'm trying my hardest to find other ways to keep myself going! I believe i have pmdd i have all the symptoms and one being i have severe derealization, i stopped my birth control for almost 3 weeks now and my derealization is awful. i know it's probably just the hormones but it's so hard to function let alone be a mom when the derealization is so awful. I'm not sure what else to do. i don't want to be on birth control because of all the risks but i have to function some how.
I have been off of it for a week now (was on it for 7 years) I have been having insane lower abdominal pain and bloating. Idk how to make it stop other than using a heating pad. I’m concerned it might be something more. It’s been so long since I’ve had a period, cramping, ovulation pain, ect that I feel like I can’t remember how it was… glad I am off of it hoping to feel better soon..

I just last night quit taking my birth control. I am so thankful for a video like this! And all the videos talking about it. My doctor did me a complete disservice and basically tried to make me believe it was my fault for my issues. He didn’t listen to anything I had to say.

Oh hell no would I be ready for baby #2 that soon! It wasn't until my first was 3 years old that I felt ready to start trying again. Don't compare yourself! Some people just think it's easier to pop them out quickly, but it's really not! My kids are 5 years apart and it works just fine for us :) 3 years would have been better but we had a loss in-between. 2 years is TOO close in age in my opinion!
I blind bought all of your fragrances because of hearing you talk about all the fragrances you have and the types of scents you gravitate towards made me trust you! I have not been disappointed! I love your fragrances so much that it's a battle between wearing or saving them so I keep them forever lol but the smells are definitely worth spritzing a dozen times per use and spending the money for repurchase! 😊 been following you since you started!
My son also had issues after birth that gave me such anxiety so I can completely relate. My son is now 10yo and is very healthy. Stay positive and try not to worry unless you have reason. Prayers work and staying off Google helps also! 😅
