Can't believe I'm saying this in the OG video 14 years later but I prefer this over the remaster. They changed too much it feels wrong. Even the line deliveries in this one feels more genuine.
AGES depiction is kinda adorable character wise, when you win a race, you see a Dreamcast VMU dancing, so basically I just headcanon that the Dreamcast VMU is controlling the vehicles that are given to you playing as AGES. I actually kinda like transformed, I’ve played it before in my younger AGES (see what I did there), it’s cool. I should play this again some day.
The only sega all stars game intro that Amigo doesn't appear in as he appears in the intros of Sega Superstars, Sega All Stars Tennis and the OG Sonic and Sega All Stars Racing, AiAi is the only character (Other than Sonic) to appear in every single one as not even Eggman or Tails appear in the Sega Superstars intro
Came here to hear Paul Eiding as the bird. Heard Cam Clarke as the PC. With MGS2 so cemented in my mind, it's a bit odd to hear these two voices in this dynamic.

Sega should bring back these crossover games now that they’re using a variety of series again Rn sonic, yakuza, smt/persona, monkey ball, puyo puyo and phantasy star are active rn Sakura wars, Space channel 5, Streets of rage, Samba de Amigo and Alex Kidd had new games in the last few years They now own angry birds and it’s getting a third movie Plus we have those old revivals that were announced at the game awards
Holy Sht I just realised somthing. Carlito was Frank's contact that tipped him off to what was going on. That's why he was waiting for him on the roof top.
@Placeholder-x7o yes. He says "you're THE reporter" instead of "you're a reporter" also explains why he is waiting on the roof top for him. Also carlito was the only person who could get a message out of the city since he had all communications jammed.
@Placeholder-x7o he needed the story to get out. He needed people to know about what happened to his home. He knew frank west would stop at nothing to get the truth. He didn't know however that frank would Ally with homeland security agents. Carlitos beef was with Brad and Jessie as he believed they would work to cover it up just like the rest of the military. Carlito never actually went after frank directly he was caught in the cross fire in every battle. First he was fighting Brad, second he was kidnapping Barnaby, 3rd he was setting up bombs to blow up the mall. Frank just happened to be at all 3 fights but was never carlitos target.
They should have had Stan Kyle cartman and Kenny getting chased by zombies when you started a new game. Since it's in a nowhere mountain town in Colorado.
I think the thing that always gets me about the beginning, is that your utterly helpless to watch the slaughter that happens. It feels like at any moment you could of saved the people but just, cant. Made worse when in the beginning of the mall you see the messages telling you which character just dies as you are helpless to do anything but run away.
The people who talked down this game when it came out, critiquing it as cliched are ALL thats wrong with the gaming industry. This game is a gem! And it demands more sequals!
