What if I want to do this on every level? I tried to connect all the levels to "level" in the "Floor.ByOutlineTypeAndLevel" but it just make 8 floor in level 1. How can I fix this?
Hi! Have a good day. Can I make the extension line visible and apply some constraints to some label with reference of extension line? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xRk3czd6F0g.html
If I'm not mistaken, these aren't Layer States that you're explaining, but a functionality of layers. Layer States are a collection of layers, which you'll be able to access using the Layer States Manager (a button can be found in the top-left in the Layer Properties Manager). I think you ment "Understanding the On and Off function of Layers".
Thank you a million for this! Someone had previously set this up in a plan I was working on and it is brilliant! So I had to figure out how they did it.
I did this and duplicated my floor to create a 2nd level floor, but when I change the level it just associates with level 2 and then changes the height offset by -10 so it only shows on level 1. If I change the height offset, it moves, but then returns to level one and "-10'" when Dynamo runs again. ???
For those who stumble upon this video using a newer version of revit.. I'm using Revit 2022. I got stuck because Revit would not open the view title family. I saw it there in the folder, but it wouldn't open it because it was a template file. The only thing you have to do different is to hit New -> Family -> find template. instead of Open ->Family->Find template like he does in the video. Everything else is the same. You're welcome, saved you an hour.
