Welcome to the official channel of the Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board, a statutory levy board funded by farmers and others in the supply chain.

Our purpose is to be a critical enabler, to positively influence outcomes, allowing farmers and others in the supply chain to be competitive, successful and share good practice. We equip levy payers with easy-to-use products, tools and services to help them make informed decisions and improve business performance.

Established in 2008 and classified as a Non-Departmental Public Body, AHDB supports the following industries: meat and livestock (Beef, Lamb and Pork) in England; Dairy in Great Britain; and Cereals and Oilseeds in the UK.

Not can, invariably they already are assisting the environment. Of course, that is not to say there aren’t still issues but as long as they are being monitored, all should be well. Effectively the more we mix things up in terms of diverse enterprises on farm we will likely increase biodiversity. Best wishes, Tony.

Is everyone that eats meat obese? I somehow doubt it. A healthier diet includes a more flexible approach to what you eat, plain and simple. Oh and yes, plenty of exercise, kind of like what our livestock farmers get when tending after their beasts day in, day out. It is all a question of balance. KEEP A FOOD DIARY. Equally when our farmers get evicted from the land where will any of our food come from and where will the farmland wildlife live?

The reason why the government are not clear on Brexit. Is because they do not intend to deliver Brexit. They intend to deliver us close to the EU and scupper brexit. But they know they will be ousted if they reveal their hand.

Another interesting discussion from AHDB. The clear problem is that each farm business is different, even those who produce from the same market have different access to resources. Therefore, Brexit will impact on each business differently. In times of uncertainty, the general advice is to "buckle up the belt" an additional notch and make sure your business is one of the survivors. And hope we get some firmer directions from our negotiators sooner rather than later.

Robots in Agriculture! You are completly insane. Your project is evil. Because of people like you hummanity is loosing touch with reality. A lot of people on this planet are triing to do good agriculture. Without chemicals..and without machines, because it's the ONLY GOOD way . The idea of building farming robots is the fruit of an insane mind, you are bringing NO GOOD to hummanity. SHAME ON YOU
