My 2012 Honda odyssey I changed the alternator 2 times and I have triple AAA battery one year old and the car keeps on running out of electricity but the second I jump start it everything is good what could be the reason
Is it a bad MC too if only one side caliper locked up (Not retracting) after replacing calipers 2 times and hydraulic hose 1 time, still same problem? Both calipers pistons can be pushed in very easy.
No more ford for med my 2012 focus is the most expensive car i have ever owned powersteering rack,dpf/egr fault all 4 brake calipers gone before car turned 120000km all the springs broke also
OMG! dude, this is why I do not take my vehicles to mechanics anymore and became my own mechanic; not because of what I see you doing but because the things you found like the timing off from before but in my case I am watching hoping to get an idea what to do; I got a 2000 Tacoma, 2RZ, mine does not have the shield underneath at all. I blew the head gasket 3 years ago after a replace of the fuel pump after it have been parked for about 5 years, and the mechanic I hired let me drive the vehicle with old fluids saying it was ok to drive it then come back to replace all the fluids; only drove for about 30 miles but that was enough to overheat and blew the gasket; same guy came and did the compression test confirming fails in cyl 1 and 3, 2 and 4 gave 180, so I parked it again all this time and was planning to do a complete engine overhaul including pistons as the vehicle has 209K miles but then recently lost my other vehicles; our van been disable over a year with a hydrolocked engine; it is ready to assembly right now but I hurt my back at work 3 months back and then I had to storage my company vehicle all the sudden, new company policy so now I have no car at all since yesterday, hence watching your video but damm what a mess!! I want/need the vehicle back in the road ASAP, so I will skip the whole engine removal, also my van is in the garage on the lift and I cant work on it right now as requires more labor I cant do in my condition; working only from top with minimal bending I may be able to get the Tacoma head off but I have seen other videos where all that timing cover removal and many other parts are not needed to get the head off so I do not understand why you did it, I get it you have never worked in this car but damm!! what a mess dude!😅...if the same happens to me I will have to stop and would be completely fucked; I am of course also following the Haynes manual. As a home DIY I have only worked in a 2004 Toyota Corolla standard but did 80 percent of the whole car, everything replaced, literally took it apart and back together new like condition, the van is a 2015 Chrysler Town and Country and took engine off, apart and repaired; it is waiting to assembly and back on, the Tacoma suppose to be the easier of the 3, hopefully! but watching you I have my doubts!
my power steering pressure hose is stuck on the pump. I get it loose and the lines moved back-and-forth, but I can’t unscrew it with my finger. I put penetrating oil on it and I’m not gonna let it sit see what happens.
Everything runs good when it's new when people Rave about it but you truly start realizing what kind of a piece of junk you have until you have to start working on it Nissan lately has been topping the list with the biggest craps on the road
I had to replace the head gasket in my 98 4 runner over 10 years ago. What an awful experience, and did it all by a book back then. Wrote down every step in a journal, and it took me a LONG time. I was meticulous in videoing, taking pictures, and writing down what I did. It has been fine for 60k miles since. Now I think I have to replace the timing chain at 210k miles which is almost as bad. Ugh, I love toyotas, but this is the only toyota engine I've ever touched, and I'm really sick of touching it. If I remember right the book calls for 10-12 hours shop time for the gasket, and it's ONLY 6-8 hours for the timing chain, lol. UGH.......... Thanks for the video. I'll probably be coming back to watch it a few more times before I dig into my own mess.
Thank you sir, after spending 3 days checking compression, injectors, spark, smoke test, etc, etc, etc. thought it was out of time. Cleared and relearned crank position and misfires are gone. Only charged the customer 2hrs and we were thrilled to resolve this for them. They were just as thrilled we only charged $130.
This may be my problem! My 91 has the exact oil stains around the PCV valve, smoking a little but not a lot. Oil consumption. I will order a new PCV valve from Mazda and report back. Thank you!
this is a dope video, I have never owned a sports car before so i never knew how expensive all maintenance parts were. if these parts last then this would be a great deal.
So i got a 17 fusion 2.0 EB and i sweat its leaking right bellow the water pump but its been leaking like that for almost a year now THAT I KNOW OF!! I have to add coolant about once every 2 to 3 weeks not much like to bring it from lil bellow LOW to MAX you think this could be the head gasket or the water pump?
Ngl this is one of the most unhelpful videos I’ve ever seen. You cut everything that was important. I think everyone who clicked on this knows how to change a sensor it’s the gutting of the engine I was struggling with and you just skipped it😭. This is the only 4.2 L video I can find too😭😭😭
Thanks so much! I bought a 2025 Honda Pilot Elite mos ago and sales did not know the product. She told me lots of stuff it did but couldn’t even add my phone! I figured lots out but this eluded me! You saved me a trip back to have remote start! All I needed was the way to use! It was switched to on…but never could get it started! Now I know lock..lock..hold remote start….voila! 🎉
Try car-part.com, make sure it has the dash in-between car and part. It's a website that links every salvage yard together. Then, type in what you want, sort my distance away from your zip code, and go get one. Most all of them come with 30 to 90 day warranty
Having had Busas (three) since 2002, Sidestand is hopeless - yes on all models - why? crazy - needs modifying - Insurance - yes, crazy, but the power of the thing scares any insurer - Governer - why would you want to go more than 300klm ph - Tyres - yes - never got more than 3,000 klm out of any rear - Assist options - tech - yes the Gen 1s and 2s are scary without assists but, hey, I am old school and didn't mind having to check myself regularly rather than have the bike do it - now I'm old the Gen 3 assists do help ha ha - wheelies - impossible not to but there is so much weight on the front it isn't hard to control like other sport bikes - Reputation and style - yes, everyone knows it - great social magnet but also completely bullet proof - never had a mechanical problem at all - totally reliable and predictable - Price - cheap as, I can't believe how cheap they have always been, even the Gen 3 is reasonable - Acceleration - insane - I have never had a bigger thrill - Danger to your licence - absolutely - nuts because it looks hot? - however, it is maybe an odd thing but I quite happily and mentally comfortably punted along at times at the speed limit, watching other bikes blitz me trying to get me to race - you know, and they know, they have no chance - so the choice is yours - you don't have to race to still command respect - oh, and keep your licence. I never got booked once on my busa - but broke the limit everytime I went out - maybe just lucky. It's a lucky bike.
I have a 1985 Monte Carlo SC that just started smoking yesterday. The smoke is white but not thick, and goes away completely after the car has been running for a few minutes. Coolant level hasn’t gone down and oil level hasn’t gone up. It’s been 85-90f the last few days so it’s not condensation. I did just put fresh gas in it, the last time it got new gas was 3 years ago. Any ideas on what it could be?
@@juniorgonzalez6399 My outlook is, If I'm just doing a relearn, I'm not charging a customer. At the same time, I do not charge to diagnose an issue either. But most shops out there will charge an hour of labor at "their" hourly rate. Even though this take less than 5 minutes to do it.
Not really sure what is done with it as im to lazy to go back and read what you put. But why would you waste money with a stroker, just go boost and be done
That booster and bracket is $100 on eBay the only part that d and c adds is the angled plate which ain’t needed Becuase you can drill the bracket directly to the firewall and use washers to angle it up. Save yourself $350.
