I am the founder of a Content Marketing agency. I am a digital nomad who has been stuck in her tracks (not only by COVID) but by the x2 tumours that decided to grow on my bowel and pancreas. Luckily they are gone now, but I had to go through a pretty life changing experience to get to where I am now.
So, it was a no brainer for me to share my journey and to encourage you to take more control over your health, happiness and life in general. It shouldn't take precancerous tumours to make you want to change your life.
I'm so thankful I came across your channel! I'm having a Whipple on Friday of this week and I've been so nervous about what to expect. I'm still shocked that this is even happening. Mine is due to a congenital cyst that I was born with that is growing and obstructing my bile duct, duodenum, and pancreas and to prevent it from turning cancerous/causing more inflammation and infection they've said a Whipple is my only option. I know you've posted this a while ago but it's bringing me so much comfort and relief! Thank you, I'm so happy to see you overcoming all the challenges (:
Thank you so much for the love! I am so sorry you are getting a Whipples but am sending so much love. You will be okay. I am now near 12 months post Whipples and my life has changed but for the better. I have a new lease on life. Connect with me on Instagram if you want to chat! Happy to support you!
@@mariahmacinnes9116 Of course, all the love to you for your grace, strength, and transparency through your journey! I'm so soo happy to hear that almost a year down the line you're living a different but good life. Your perspective is so admirable. I had my pre-op today and I'm just so wired up about it all but thank you for the reassurance! I would love to connect with you on Instagram! Thank you so much for the response and support (:

Thank you for sharing all of this. I had my whipple in early May for pancreatic cancer and am dealing with a lot of the same things. It really helps to see your journey!
