My daughter was thinking about getting microlocs so she can get her locks done cheaper since the microlocs and sisterlocks are similar…she contacted a stylists and they quoted her a price of $1200. I paid $1300 for my sisterlocks that was established 5/28/24.The price for microlocs and sisterlocks has increased because everyone is getting locked up these days with microlocs and Sisterlocks. Me personally, I would always choose Sisterlocks because I like the size of them. It comes down to preference. Thanks for sharing, Peace!
@@BernettaStyle it started with a broken battery,for some reason this wasn't in the warranty the local store said (feel like I was scammed). After paying for the new battery ,the set up and program of the robot was very customary friendly. Now it is running like charm in the garden . I have another piece of land (one hectare) ,that I need to maintain as well. Thinking about another brand to buy,just because of the battery story.
I haven’t tried any of the ones you shared. I will try the black girl magic in the future. I have been using the Fenty Hydra Vizor. It is not cheap but it has great ingredients and no cast. I have acne so it took a long time to find something that didn’t clog my pores. It has Niacinamide for those of us who have dark spots
Thsis is a timely video. I'm looking for new sunscreen because my usual one I can't find. I tried black girl sunscreen but it breaks my skin out. So now I'm about to try the supergoop dupe at Kroger. I'll Def look into some of the ones you mentioned

Honestly, when I started researching sisterlocks, I didn't know about mircolocks. Everyone whose hair I really liked was Sisterlocks. I then had a friend who told me that she would have gotten mircolocks if she could have done it over because they get thicker quicker, and just get thicker period over sisterlocks. And if I could do it over, I would get Mircolocks too. I want my locks thicker and now that I'm 20 months, I don't know how much more thicker they will get.

You know your tips may be just due to the shrinkage due to the locking process. I THINK THAT YOURE UNHAPPY WITH THEM DUE TO THE CURRENT LENGTH BUT I REALLY LIKE THEM. ALSO CONSIDER COLORING YOUR TIPS FOR A UNIFORM COLOR WHICH MAY MAKE THEM APPEAR A LITTLE LONGER. I LIKE SHORT LOCS BUT OF COURSE IT'S ABOUT WHAT YOU LIKE FOR YOURSELF. YOUR LOCS REALLY ARE BEAUTIFUL AND DOING QUITE WELL.
I wish my retire was $125😂😂😂. I got my sl around the same time as you and I had 2 inches of hair. I have over 600 locks because I had a relaxer on the ends and I have high density 4A hair 😊. Anyway, I have cut off the relaxer, but the cost is $225 for a retie. Once my edges stop unraveling, I will diy😊. I make a wonderful salary but yeah the cost is crazy.

No, my hair started off as blonde and then the blonde started to disappear. I never saw any hair fall out. My loctitian said that the blind went up into my lock. But I’m like if the color went into the loc, why can’t you see any blonde in the loc. it’s a mystery

Thank you for this video! I normally don't comment but I really love how your locks have thickened up in just 4 months. I've been thinking about sisterlocks for about f years now. Let's just say I wasn't quite ready to give up perming OR coloring my hair. I've been natural for about a year and a half now and my hair is salt & pepper . I've set up 2 consultations , my first is this Wednesday 👏. I am super excited....except for the mandatory "plucked chicken" phase!!! I also live in the Tampa Bay area. I think you should go back to your natural color-your hair is beautiful regardless. I don’t wash my hair too often, but I do run water through my scalp as well. I have traditional Loc’s with shaved sides and love it! Love your channel! New subscriber. 🤎
