Welcome to our channel! We are all about the outdoors . We will have videos and tips on food plots, hunting, fishing and trapping as well as many other outdoor projects! We will also be constructing a rather cool project of our hunting man cave! Our channel is mostly about how we manage our 26 acre parcel of land and numerous projects around the property.
Yes this method will definitely work on some smaller channel cats. Try it out let me know how you make out. I hope to get out soon for some and I'll do some content. Thanks for watching and the comment!
I just set a trap out this morning I've always wanted to eat them so only time will tell if the trap works. It might be too early for them in my opinion but the water didn't feel that cold
Awesome! Keep me posted on how you make out. When I set the traps I have I use hotdogs or dry dog food in a nylon or bait bag so it doesn't all float to the top of the trap. Thanks for watching and the comment!
Hey I'm new into this stuff and I have a horse skull, I already degreased and bleached it but the teeth I took out won't go back in... If u have any tips I'd be forever greatful 🫂
Do any of the teeth fit back in??? They should fit back in if the right tooth is put in the right tooth socket. If the teeth got all mixed up and out of order then it's going to be like a giant puzzle of trying to see which tooth goes where.
I'm glad you enjoyed the video! Thank you for the comment and welcome to the area! Bonding and making memories is what I'm all about. It will always be nice to be able to look back on some of these memories with my kids. Should have a lot of content this summer once I have some things sorted out
No unfortunately not ......but you can set the time for the app to take a picture when it does its once a day communication which it must do to check signal etc. I have mine when it updates not to take a picture. Ssssooo if you tweaked the settings everytime to take a picture like you want to I guess you could but seems to me like it be a royal pain. Hope this might help you out with your question. Thanks for the comment!
Don't forget ther is a tiny greese fitting under the spinner for the bearing that spins underneath but I cover that thing in fluid fill too after I grease it
Crazy so I was told by a fisher dealer not to force the spinner by hand that doing that can cause the motor under the black shell to break because it's and electric motor......and it happend to me. I actually like the poly sanders but if u don't keep them things clean before u put them away and I mean CLEAN....clean as the day u bought it they will have issues as well as they made all the parts under the shell out of aluminum and heavy straight salt enclosed coming off the belt in moist air under the shell getting all over the aluminum parts is a bad mix we have 2 of them and all the aluminum behind the shell is already corroded we soak everything under the shell in fluid fill I like the sander but the design was poorly executed
Yeah I've bought stock in fluid film lol. My dealer told me to take a pipe wrench and slowly go back and fourth til it would free up and spray up in there. Said I can do it or I can pay him to do it lol.
Just had the same problem with mine. 1 year old. Left outside over the summer. Half a can of wd40 and it loosened up and all good now. Thanks for the video!
It's NOT chute preset. It's chute present. I think on the steel caster there was a magnet, definitely no magnet on poly versions. I think the module detects motor current draw and will set fault for high/low (abnormal) current. The poly hopper spreaders are put together a little shoddily. Spinner belt alignment varies way too much, you need to set the pulley alignment to make the belt as happy as possible. Fisher uses bearings (2 of the same part number 1 upper, 1 lower) that use steel shields instead of rubber seals. Steel shields are great for high rpm and zero dust environments. They allow sand and salt dust in and don't hood grease well. The lower bearing is more of a problem for several reasons. The upper bearing is enclosed and it's above where sand/salt dump so it's less contaminated. The lower one deals with sand/salt/moisture because of gravity and its proximity to the ground. Now store the spinner on the ground in the off season and it's a recipe for disaster. Throw a convergence of belt misalignment, unhappy bearings, and the weight of sand/salt falling on the spinner and the electrical load is real high. You can get aftermarket bearings with dual seals which are comprised of rubber. Keeps junk out more, and holds grease in better.
Thanks for all the info!! I was lucky on mine for the fix. Was my fault for leaving the spinner outside the whole offseason🤣this will teach me. Thanks for watching and the great comment! Should help a lot of folks out who read it! Thanks again
Really in the winter in Connecticut?? Sorry I missed your comment and took me so long to answer lol. I'm all for trying it but not sure I want to freeze to death trying🤣 Thanks for watching and the comment!
We run two of these and keep them outside as well but you know theres actual grease fittings on the spinner shaft right? We grease ours up after the season and encase ALL the bearings in actual grease top and bottom and make it a point to spin them a few times a month during the summer to keep things moving and never had that code pop up. One of ours keeps throwing off a CE code and we narrowed it down to a new main control board relay (but have to buy the entire control board). We also keep the chains sprayed regularly during the summer, just wish I could find a spray that lasts more than a few weeks, thinking about trying straight oil.
Good tips ! Ya I greased mine before it sat and fluid filmed chain. I'll be honest I never remember to do anything with it in the summer. Why I cheat and store it inside. Lube it put it away and forget about it. Unfortunately that year I spaced left spinner outside. I wonder if you can find a used board somewhere? Seems like a lot of guys have problems with these. Thanks for the comment and watching good luck plowing this year!
Yeah I think the key is to grease and keep them moving a few times a month and spraying the chain several times during the off season. Our dealer gives us a good discount so I typically just get new parts.@@26acresoutdoors
That probably would have worked but I found put later the problem was I dented my blades on the auger the last time I used it lol. I stepped up.the game for this year with a gas one. Looking forward to same safe ice and putting up some videos. Thanks for watching and the comment!
I believe it does then the 3 screws just screw in For the plate. I believe I drilled a hole for the bolt. I honest don't remember. I can take it off and check for you.
@@26acresoutdoors I hope you get some code to share with us how to resolve the problem 😂, I install my yesterday,my spinner was not spinning and get a SO code, the chain was working fine, today I free up my spinner and now I got this NC code(no connection)! I bought this sander last year.
@@26acresoutdoors I checked all the connections, I got power come in to the module but one white wire that come out the module and goes to the motor is not giving me any power,do you have any idea?? I already scheduled to bring where I did the installation but it’s 15 days waiting:(
@fabricioalmeida348 the only thing I can think of is that white wire might be damaged from module to motor. If you trace that one back might be the problem. ?
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the video. I really do love these cameras. I've been disappointed with a lot of other brands. These are still going strong. They been out for going on 2yrs never took them down other than to put new batteries in. Thanks for the comment!
Whats tge monthly price on pics and how many per package ,,,,just being able to turn it on and off is a plus ,,,,,,does it have to have good signal strength to send pics
Yes the camera will show you the signal strength once you set it up. I suppose it depends where you at for signal strength. Unlimited pictures is $10 per month per camera. 1000 is $7 per month per camera. Not horrible depending on how many cameras you put up. They also have a club for $99 per year which allows you to get 250 pics per camera for free. Also discounts on the other 2 packages unlimited down to $8 per month per camera and 1000 down to $5.60 per camera. My opinion depends how many cameras you have of what's the best deal. Or if 100 free per month per camera is enough then no plans needed. Certain months I need to pay due to activity then I just go back to free plan. Hope this helps sorry for the delay in responding. Thanks for watching and the comments!
Great info thanks ,,,,im in the process of tressapassers who destroy my stuff ,,,,,joining land owners own 300 acres but want to be on my 24 acres were the deer stay
Thanks! Also thanks for watching and the comment! That spot is in Gales Ferry CT across from the school by Stoddards Park. Park in the dirt pull offs and just walk down to the railroad tracks. Lots of places to fish and good fishing!
I found a used one available for 2k but it only has the front set of disks. It has the s forks on the back. Can you give me an honest opinion of how you like the unit after using it for a year or so? Worth the purchase or should I look elsewhere? Thanks for the video!
Honestly if you spray and terminate the vegetation first down to dirt it works pretty good. It takes me about 2hrs a plot to til it real good. Not bad compared to what I was doing b4 with no til. Once your plots are established it tils it no problem. In the spring I'll til it before weeds take over and turn in what I grew the previous year. If the weeds and grass stay out it will til it no problems tilling. If you let the weeds and grass grow all summer you going to struggle. You basically be back to square one and have to terminate again. My plots are all in hay feilds and without terminating what was there it wouldn't break the ground. As far as planting yes speeds things up and if set right covers and cultipacks seeds. I have no problem there. Sounds like you got a good deal if you can score the rest of the unit. It is pricy but im glad I bought it. I made it work for what I have to do. The videos online were a little mis leading on how it tils the smaller unit like I have. The bigger ones I have no input on. But with a 350 atv I'm happy. Reach out to them they are super nice! They are veteran owned and were so personable on the phone is the main reason I bought it. I hope this helps! Reach out if I can help any other way. Thanks for watching and the comment! Also buy your seeds from Northwoods Whitetail Inc. Best seeds hands down!! I will stand by ALL his products. I'm subscribed to his page check him out. He even nicer guy on the phone and will help you out with what seeds to plant for what you are trying to accomplish. Check out my videos on how some of his seeds turned out. I had basketball sized turnips and waist high healty green plants that the deer destroyed they loved it!
@@26acresoutdoors I appreciate the detailed response. Thanks! I sent an email to the guy to see if he still has the unit, and what attachments he has with it. Our problem here in west texas is the rain (or lack of it). Ive tried some throw and gro products with zero success. Yesterday I made a drag harrow and roughed up the surface on a half acre plot and got some Bio Logic Green Patch plus in. We are expecting rain during the week, so we will see.
@rbljackson you're welcome! I had a drought last year when I planted. Only way I got anything to grow those conditions was to cover the seed before a chance of rain like you're doing. Good luck! Keep me posted how you make out.
@rbljackson Also thanks for subscring!! I really appreciate it. I normally post a lot more videos but in the middle of a divorce😫. I should be back to posting a lot more videos over the winter here soon when my life gets back to normal lol.
Im completely new to fishing, literally caught first fish today, and this is the first catfish cleaning video I've seen (I've watched like 10 in a row afraid to get it wrong) that I've not felt completely overwhelmed by. Will try this, thanks!
Glad to hear you are out there starting to fish! Congratulations on your first catch!! I hope this video comes in handy for you. Thanks for watching and commenting! Don't forget to let us know how this method worked out for you. Happy fishing and good luck!
@26acresoutdoors It worked but I definitely think I need to do it before putting the fish on ice for long. Spine snapped a bit too but I managed 😅 Thank you for this video, appreciate it very much!
It certainly is!! Some of my best memories I have are from fishing with my Grandfather and Father 🙏I'm sure they up there watching the kids and me! I have 2 little ones joining the ranks soon. Actually got the 3yr old catching her first fish this year on the channel. I love making memories and thanks for watching and the comment!
Yes sir they are! It was a heck of a feast for sure! Definitely was worth the effort raising them. My opinion they tastes way better than store bought. There is a noticeable difference.
Well thank you!!! One of my favorite tank tops for the summer it's made a few appearances in some videos lol.Glad you are enjoying the videos! Thank you for watching and the comment!
