Great job, I did the same on a w166 pre facelift through a much easier way but lost the glow plug light, which I can see that even through Vediamo, the same happened on yours.
@@carfixathome Unfortunately not, and same as you I abondoned the idea of having the AMG Menu as the glow plug light was more important. Its a shame as I had the AMG Menu on the w164 and it worked great and have to admit as it is very useful to have.

Did you try to wait 5 more seconds after the glow plug light is off?l and then start the engine. I have this problem where the lights is off before they are off. And if I wait more it starts very good
HI, it was a little nightmare. There was ATF oil all over the place :) after you remove the pan. But the most important is to have new the tools to drain the oil also I removed the Gearbox Mount. You can just lift the gearbox up with and work with more space there, to be bale to remove the pan
