shibuya walk in the evening with lots of people out on the streets. you had good evening weather with then it started raining. but you managed to film well despite bad weather. The streets are always crowded and beautiful. The weather was fine at first but later the heavy rain started. I was able to film and escape the shower. I was also about to end filming so I guess, it was good timing. Thank you for the reminder, with this heat I’m drinking 10L of water every day lol! Love the Shibuya nights. Busy main street and quieter side ones. Much to see and enjoy. Towards the end of the video it started to drizzle and then rain shower at the end. It must have cooled off the humidity and heat. Enjoyed the video thank you.
Same here! The streets are so lively and exciting. The energy is always amazing and beautiful. And if you are tired with the crowd, the quieter streets offer a nice break to relax. yes, It was crazy rain at the end! I’m sure a lot of people were not expecting that and since it happened during the last train time, I think some people might have missed their trains. Until the 1990s, Shibuya was a rundown, dangerous town. To the point where women shouldn't walk alone at night. The local government, local residents, and police worked together to eliminate delinquents and criminal organizations. In recent years, it has been redeveloped into an adult town, with improved public safety and a cleaner city, making it a popular tourist destination for foreigners. It's a monster city with 3.3 million people passing through every day, but there's still order.
Thank you very much for sharing this interesting history about Shibuya! I was totally shocked to know that Shibuya was unsafe back in the day. I’m sure a lot of foreigners would be shocked to hear this and might find it hard to believe. I can guarantee you that it’s one of the places I feel safest and most comfortable in Tokyo right now. The Shibuya residents and police must have worked so hard and tirelessly to turn Shibuya into a safe and vibrant neighborhood in Tokyo. I’m so grateful for all their hard work! A tranquil view of Tokyo. Shinobazu Pond and the quiet Shinagawa area are appropriate for Todai Japan's best university. Enjoyed the area. Thank you for the video.
Shinobazu Pond with the lotus plants blooming and the sound of the wind chimes, it really gives the festival a nice vibe. Tokyo University was also really nice with all the trees and cool architecture. Glad you enjoyed the walk and thank you very much as always🙏💝

I prefere Tokyo day. I got out one time during the night and tokyo dodn't attracted me so much. I prefer to wandering between people of the day, i don't like the night ambiance. 1 night time in 16years lol
I don’t think there is much difference now. Maybe there are more foreigners/expats living here now. It depends on the place, I think but Tokyo is more vibrant and full of excitement at night Haha. Of course there are also some places in Tokyo that are full of people during the daytime and super quite at night. Thank you very much for watching the video🙏💖
The Ginza at different times of the day will change in appearance. Different shades of the same color. Have always found it interesting. In this video I liked the section from 39:00 on with the small restaurants. A contrast between main and side streets. Besides Asakusa I do like Shibuya and the Ginza area both of which you cover regularly. Enjoyed thanks.
I love both faces of Ginza! The main streets are vibrant and luxurious and if you go to the back streets, you will find nice cozy restaurants and izakayas. It’s nice to have both experiences in one place. Shibuya, Ginza and Asakusa are all awesome! By the way, I’m thinking of posting videos every other day. I thought by doing that, I’m giving everyone some time to enjoy each video. I’m still not sure if it should be 48 or 72 hours. I saw other RU-vidrs publishing videos every 3 days or week. The place I enjoyed the most was the Yushima Tenjin Shrine. Quiet and peaceful grounds. Then as you walked down the dark street it was perfect. No tourists and tranquil. Of course the big city was around the corner. Enjoyed thank you.

Like this area because not too congested. Takeshita St. is one of the best walks. Easy to navigate and observe the surroundings. Thank you enjoyed the video.
💯 It’s one of the best for a walk! This area is less crowded especially in the evening/night. And I tried to hold the camera as high as possible in this video so the surrounding view wouldn’t be blocked. Glad you enjoyed it and thank you very much as always🙏💝

I think Yurakucho is not well known by tourists so it’s not that crowded. In the evening and night, it’s mostly locals who go there for the restaurants or izakayas. I like the izakayas along the railway. They are really cool! Glad you enjoyed the video and thank you very much as always🙏💝

There are some nice restaurants and izakayas (bars) under the Gado Shita (under the railway in Yurakucho). It’s close to Ginza but a bit calmer and has a Japanese local feel. Take care and thank you so much for your kind words🙏💝

Especially in crowded places, it’s easier to film when it’s not raining but if it’s a quieter place, no problem at all. It rained the whole walk, but not heavy so not a problem. After the rain was it a little cooler? Golden Gai looked quieter than usual. Enjoyed the walk thank you.
Yes, the rain did bring the heat down a bit. Golden Gai was quieter but walking those narrow paths with an umbrella and camera was a bit tough tho. Ichiban Gai was the same. Glad you enjoyed the walk and thank you so much as always🙏💝

Filming at Ichiban Gai and Golden Gai in the rain was a bit tricky because of the umbrella. It was hard to move while holding the camera and the umbrella. It was a busy Friday night and the rain didn’t seem to keep anyone away! Maybe I should invest in a hands free umbrella next time😄 Take care and thanks for the support🙏💝
