I see I'm a bit late in seeing this video... But ran across it doing Chek2 research. I, too, have the mutation. No family history of breast cancer, but I lost my mom at 56 to colon cancer and my grandma was diagnosed with colon cancer in her early 30s. Needless to say, I've started my colonoscopy journey. So far, so good. Weirdly enough, I also have a love of ASL. I'm not an interpreter, just a signer, but I was almost to the point of entering the interpreting program when I stopped going. Small world. 😊
Hello, glad I found you. I just found out I have two CHEK2 mutations. I've had 6 primary cancers. My blog, which covers my journey is Greenmonkeytales.blogspot.com

Hello Jane. I am sorry to hear of your recent diagnosis. Please reach out if you have any questions or just need to talk. I know it can be overwhelming.... Be well and take care.
I've had both tests done(mammogram and colonoscopy),and am clear. Next MRI will be in March. Breast cancer does not run in my family but colon cancer does. Keep us updated on any new info. I wish you well.
You, Kate, are fantastic. We are sharing your journey with you as much as we can. Lots of love and support! -Becky B (and Dave, though he isn't on my channel. :) )
