If I have multiple snare channels and kick channels sent to aux tracks in my drums, do I just send the aux tracks to the folder since they are the ones with the main output on them, or would I dump all the drum tracks in one drum folder?
That’s one thing about PT - you can route it however you want. Sounds like you could maintain balance between stacked drum tracks by using the auxes routed to the folder. You could also use a vca just for those channels too, even a group

So to maintain balance between the groups (for example I have an original kick track then that track duplicated with the second one having a trigger on it, same situation for the snare) having everything routed to a routing folder, getting rid of the two aux tracks, then assigning a vca to the kick and one to the snare to control the over all blend within the folder?
Great vid! I didn't know you could make this correction via the AudioSuite menu or the native eq plugins. I think you're talking about polarity tho. Phase deals with time, so aligning the waveforms of the tracks to begin at the same time would be phase correction. Thanks!
everytime i try to configure kontakt my default settings are not the same as the tutorials and i cant fing work out how to change them, 2 yrs on im still not using konatkt correctly
None of my Massive X Expansions that I just purchased are not showing up in my browser. I've deleted Massive X and reinitiated it again after a computer restart & opening up Massive in my DAW, I saw the regeneration of banks, but none of the newly purchased ones are showing up. I've given Full Access etc. Still nothing. Please help... Thank You!!!
Hi! Can you explain to me what this program is for? I thought that program was finding sounds in some kind of her library. But as i understand it, you need to upload sound libraries into it ?
It’s a searchable database of the sounds you load into it. I’m not looking at it, but under File, there should be a load/import function. You’d direct that towards a folder of sfx on your hard drive

Routing Folders finally brings functionality to Pro Tools that has been in Nuendo/Cubase since forever. Solo the group/aux and solo all tracks being sent there. Drove me crazy that wasn't a feature when I switched to PT back in the day!
Thanks for the tip. I have use for your method. I didn't realize a person could separate a drum track into its individual components. I will try this on a Midi drum track that I recorded from my keyboards.
