It was fun reliving the cruise with you, and I was so surprised to see myself on the video!! Yes, when you first get on the beach that first line of chairs... I was the big Woman about the sixth chair down with black bottoms and an Orange and yellow top. So thank you. lol
We are thinking about booking one of these rooms too... It looked like there was a small walkway right in front of the window. Is there access out there? We are just wondering if people can just walk right in front of your window.
No one can walk in front of the window. It's not available to passengers. If I remember correctly, I think they did clean the windows but gave us notice before hand.
@@tonyalcook we are looking at 2 cruises, one of which has this room available. I'd love to take my GoPro and do a time lapse of the front of the ship in & out of ports. Thank you for the look-around of this room!
Nice!! Thanks for making this video, great review; we're also looking to get a scenic ocean view for our anniversary in August. looks like there's two configurations, this kind of L shaped one and the straight narrow ones, I hope we get this one! that view and those windows and seating area look amazing!!
No. We just got a taxi and went on our own. There is a charge to get into the park though. But it was cheaper for us to just grab our own taxi and go on our own as opposed to booking an excursion through carnival.
@@tonyalcook Thank you. We'll be sailing in February. Thank you for uploading all your videos, they helped us big time, on our first cruise on the Elation. ☆Happy☆ Thank you.
Thank you so much for posting. Could you please tell me if the "king" bed can be separated into two twins? Even with just a foot or so of space between might work. Thanks
first. I love the video. I also enjoy my HTC RE, it comes in really handy for stuff like this. question for ya... How did you get there? I've read there is a boat ride involved, but do they pick you up from the cruise port?
Me too! We have one planned for next March which is so far away. Lol. But we've recently adopted 3 children and have gotten custody of 2 more with hopeful adoption so that's keeping us quite busy. I still need to upload the other videos of this cruise. I've just been too busy to edit. Thanks for watching though. 😊 Hopefully I can get this other videos done soon.
Thank you for posting the video of the room. I booked it and I couldn't find pics anywhere to show my husband. Now we are both super excited about our upcoming cruise.
Latoria Bass Sorry for taking so long to respond. I wanted to talk to my husband before answering to get his input as well. He recalls more movement than I do. One night it was really windy so I felt a bit more than normal movement but it just really wasn't enough to stand out significantly to me. My husband says he felt movement the whole cruise but to him the view was worth the movement. Neither one of us got sea sick or anything. So I'd say that I did feel more movement than when we've been in the center of the ship but for me, it just wasn't bad at all. I'd definitely stay in this cabin again. I hope I didn't ramble on too much. Lol.
Great room. I've booked it on Paradise after drydock for a Jan 2020 sailing. Video makes it hard to tell...How much space is there in front of the closets and in front of the right two windows? Any idea on the TV size? It seems huge! Thanks.
Robby Wilcox I think the tv was a 32 inch. From the closet doors to where you could comfortably stand was probably about 4 feet. The windows slope so you have to account for that. It felt roomy enough to us. I hope you enjoy the room. 😊
Brandon Raines It's a great room. We loved it. Those rooms are new. They were added during the last dry dock. The whole 14th deck was added during dry dock actually. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did. 😊
Tien There are different packages you can get and the prices vary. They have them listed on the Carnival website I think, but I don't know exactly what the fees are off hand. I only get the social media package which is around $5 a day.
Watching these series of videos is making me feel more excited about taking this same exact trip for my 45th birthday in November. Great videos guys!!!!!😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
nake1975 No, it was all free. every single dessert I had was amazing. I don't care for most of the desserts on Carnival bc to me they just don't taste that great. But these were so delicious. We had no idea they were having tea though. The funtimes only said that the instrumentalists were playing, but no mention of tea. So we were going just to listen to them for a little bit bc they are great live. So definitely go to tea if you see it on your funtimes. I don't care for hot tea but those desserts.....mmmmmmmm! 😊
I'll be doing my first cruise the same time frame in 2017 as this trip. I am doing research now. Just curious as to how full the ship was, given that you booked last minute. How full was the dining room?
