Na its definitely teammates holding me back i can do everything correct wtf am i supposed to do with a teammate 4-16.... Nobody ever addresses that its always you gotta do better alright i did better but my teammates dont...now what... I see ehy people gatekeep shit they passionate about once you let the dummies in its over...
It’s actually so true we have a baseline ability but at some point u will hit a plateau and you won’t get any further. At that point it is crucial to actually study and work on your skills, just like in boxing , you could rely purely on ur athletic gifts but it will only take you so far without really learning and training
It’s interesting I can actually apply a lot of these concepts to my kickboxing. Sometimes I try new things and it makes me worse, but if I stick it out in the end I will surpass my friends who are just going on autopilot
Love your work Mr A10, the knowledge you have shared have made me better, however my rank has not increased much, but tbh, I invest my efforts into other avenues, but brotha, your videos are gold. Anybody that knows knows, all about that ebb n flow gang...
Also remember they are not HEALERS, they are SUPPORT, low healing numbers don't mean they aren't helping their team, playing support its more about increasing/boosting your team abilities as a whole. Learn to stay alive alone by yourself first.
And please, learn to use a diverse number of heroes. Every now and then go on and try to master and customize a random hero. It will not only increase your skillset, but it will teach you the weaknesses of that heroe and how to better manage a fight against it
Actually, yes my teammates are holding me back. I'm convinced you could put a top 500 player into bronze league and he'd never climb his way out and hit a brick wall around gold/plat. You can't carry in an objective game with 4 other teammates. If it was straight slayer (whoever gets most kills wins), you could carry.
Completely delusional. If you play well, you will climb. The better you are, the higher the win rate. Top 500 player will have close to 100% win rate. If you're bronze and you turn your monitor on, turn the sound on and stop holding W, you will have a 60% win rate. Just use your brain for 2 seconds. You have 4 players on your team holding you back. Enemy team has 5 holding each other back. Is 4 greater than 5?
One of the most helpful videos about Improving in Overwatch I've seen. ❤ I easily get preoccupied with thoughts about other player's perception of my performance, and it doesn't help. I'll try to instead focus on: what am I practicing to get better at this game and what did I learn this game.
Whats also great is to confuse the enemy team. Im only silver so what Im saying is not very significant lmao but if you‘re playing a dive hero their team is gonna adapt after some time. Then when you barely have a chance anymore, you swap to a poke hero and it‘ll get you soooo many kills just cuz they don‘t expect it anymore. And you just do that the whole game it works perfectly.
Yes rock paper scissors is indeed a bronze strategy. If you play dive and get some free kills and they adapt, now you need to play smarter and bait, fake dive, force cooldowns and so on. Far more effective to play 1-3 hero's well, than play all of them badly.
