Through the RGD, Canadian designers exchange ideas, educate and inspire, set professional standards and build a strong, supportive community dedicated to advocating for the value of design.
I love this! Even though they're all design studios, you can tell how different all three are in terms of personality. My personal favorite was Daughter Creative; love the light-hearted humor and the cute dog!

The RGD (that's us) is Canada's largest professional association for graphic designers. You can learn more about joining the RGD at rgd.ca. As for internships, LinkedIn is a great place to look. We also post internships on the RGD Job Board on our site.
Very inspiring! Thank you so much for sharing this. I'm also a graphic designer, but I need to learn more about it. Hopefully I can work there in Canada as a graphic designer too. 😊
Interesting insights and really enjoyed the chat. I think one of the key drivers to design agency evolution is the need to adapt to a very different global city demographic in Toronto, as with London UK, where I’m based, compared to 10/20 years ago. iPhones, new tech and social media has heightened people’s awareness of ‘brand’ with clients looking for more imaginative cut-thru solutions and ways to engage to gain market advantage while remaining authentic to their (shared) values.
Elegantly beautiful, practical design solutions - Graphic design by some masters who remain humble about their achievements - the funny thing, it's September 2019 and I've had a Mobil service station just open about 800m metres down the road from where I live, so now I drive past these designer's amazing logo design from 60 years ago, every day - as a graphic designer that is mind boggling.
