Too bad this version isn't available on Amazon music. I hope they add it someday. Too many people especially younger generations are missing out on this gem. Way better than the album version in my opinion..
I wonder why the video displays just black pople looting. Where there any white ppl looting? I thought that just poor and low educated people do this things but this argument is not valid because of the police officers robbing those stores. Does it mean that black people have increased tendencies to loot when they can? or what?
They say that the Orientals who come to America are not big fans of the African Americans. Why would that be? NOPE NOPE AND NOPE......NONE, ZERO, ZIP.....You see the Japanese have enough self respect, respect for their communities and neighbors, discipline and honor. +Shawn Wei This photo is deceiving. That officer was seen in a video taking those items from a looter just minutes before the photo was taken. There were many officers taking things out of the looters hands just so it wouldn't encourage other looting. However, there were many instances of officers (86 to be exact) who left there posts to be with their families. Other did steal and comitted criminal acts. The biggest crime was the illegal gun confiscations.
Police on the outsides blocked the people who lived there from leaving from the floods. These people WERENT allowed to leave. And rescue buses that were supposed to come weren't. The police would fire warning shots if they tried to leave. There was no food or water so some looted. In one clip you clearly see someone carrying toilet paper not everyone was taking things out of necessity but some were. I can understand looking for food and water and clean bandages if one is injured for example but slugging tv's out the door and other items is ridiculous. Basically all that merchandise is a write off but it belongs to the store owners and it's not theirs to take. The police taking stuff basically said it's a free for all and help yourselves.
