I watched your RU-vid video. Your every video is really awesome. But your channel and your videos expect more views and subs. I analyzed Your RU-vid channel and I found RU-vid video SEO is not done. This is why your video is not going viral and views are not increasing.
I bought this to avoid using my oven which is older and sucks. I'm just hoping this will work for what I need it for, chicken wings, steaks, ribs. Anyone have any tips?
Thank you for the visual tip of putting parchment paper down on the air fryer basket to cook potatoes. I did not like how the oil dripped off without it
Be careful of the doors slamming shut if you don't open them fully. If this happens enough times the mechanism inside will break and the doors will stop working properly. Also when frying wings in the basket I found there's less smoke if I put a dollar store tinfoil pan at the bottom to catch the grease. There's much more smoke if you just use the Kalorik drip tray. i run mine sitting on top of my flat top stove under the range hood fan so it takes alot of heat and smoke away.
This video is meant for those who are not able to clean after every use but it would be easier in terms of cleanup for sure to clean it after each use. I use mine at least once a day though so that’s not realistic for me
I never used aluminum foil and my tray is uncleanable. I’ve done oven cleaner, vinegar, baking soda, dish soap and scrubbed til it’s raw. It still looks black and greasy. Ugh.
I began with a quality basket style air fryer and now am sure this Breville will be a very sensible upgrade. *** I have a question?*** I'll be placing this on a heavy duty wire rack system that is 18" deep. How deep of a shelf does this need to go on so I don't end up bending the door hinges? I guess I will have a piece of strong plywood cut to go underneath the entire oven. Your recommendation was really helpful. A new subscriber.
thank you for this, ill be making use of these tips! i love this oven, ive not used my full-sized one since buying it (okay, literally once. that's all though)
The stainless steel basket and grill: why mess about, soak in diluted bleach/water for a few min then use non-stick safe scrubber, or a even a stronger sponge - steel can take it. I have a Hysapientia 24L oven and last night I deemed it impossible to clean, and it's irritating to see all these great photos manufacturer shoes having it stuffed with things, oil and splatter must be going everywhere! Then they "wipe the interior"? give me a break. For stubborn stains they say make a paste out of baking soda and water - doesn't work!! What does is a tough scrubber sponge, maybe one suitable for non stick pans, I don't know why they don't recommend to use those? It's a stainless steel interior. The cleaning nightmare is the biggest omission manufacturers make, feels like a scam because honestly it's too hard to clean. Might as well not bother, let the fat stains stick like f. I just use a small frying pan and stick it inside the oven. I guess we'll eventually perfect it, a great air frying oven with dual capabilities, without a cleaning nightmare.
Who is this gorgeous woman. Thank you for making this video. I don't care if all of the oven doesn't get as clean as the rest, but this is a start and a simple one. Some parts I too stay away from. Baking soda and dish soap... priceless.
My beloved little toaster oven of 20 years, yup, 2 full decades, is finally near its end. I've been scouring the internet, researching all the different kinds of toaster ovens with air fryers because after 20 years, I feel like I deserve an upgrade. 😂 This has, by far, been the most thorough, realistic, and pragmatic review I've seen so far. And I've now seen a ton!! 🥴😂
@everythingbutpasta Thanks so much for your encouragement because I take a ridiculously long time researching (and soul searching if I'm totally honest 😂), making sure no stone is left unturned. Also, this is a big investment for me! 😬
Man my regular oven has never looked that dirty , here is much better cleaning solution . Don’t wait every few months to clean it so many parts can go in a dishwasher clean them if used once a week .
I bought a nonstick mat for bottom of this oven and just easily wash with soap and water as needed. The only feature I don’t like on this oven Is the toaster. It takes much more time than a regular toaster to toast bread . I’ve had this for 4 yrs and use in place of my oven. I got mine through rewards points at work so it’s been a great gift.
If by non-stick mat you mean a silicone mat, I used to do that too but I found it discolours over time and I didn’t like that. That’s when I switched to tinfoil. I agree, the toaster feature is quite slow but I prefer it to having another appliance on my counter
Trick- I use this for microwave too-put a small oven safe container with a few drops of dish soap & water in the oven, or a bit of vinegar & water. Turn the oven on maybe 300 degrees & run for maybe 10 minutes til water is boiling. Let sit with door shut for 2 minutes then wipe out entire oven & accessory racks etc. Also racks & accessories are dishwasher safe
@@GregariousAntithesis This could be true at least for in inside. Outside is def stainless steel. Regardless, oven cleaner might not work for everyone is the message here. I don't know if I can get such a stain out but it isn't so bad.
@@plextors-playthroughs i didnt need to spray the outside of mine, i would use barkeepers helper on the outside. The inside of mine was beyond filthy and the oven cleaner did react with the aluminum but it was the only thing to get it clean.
Thank you for your honest review, very helpful. You might be even more happy that you have a stainless steel vs plastic air fryer. It seems people are finding out how much plastics is ending up in their food. I don't know about the science of this worry, but I'm not going to get a plastic one, just in case. And I love my breville blender, it's excellent in its designed shape so I'm glad to hear this oven is a winner too!
any countertop oven is so hard to clean.... you can get around the elements....I use the foil on the bottom and if I've cooked something greasy/splashy I clean it immediately after the oven has cooled... this way I can pretty much keep it looking halfway decent all the time
I use a roasting pan on stove top bring water just over the rack to boil then I put some baking soda to water the grease bubbles off. I also clean my over the stove fan filters the same way
If I ever get this I will use it for dry cooking only. Like fries, egg rolls, wontons, bread, cookies etc. it looks nasty when it’s dirty. I would end up throwing it out :(
I just bought one of these at Harvey Norman here in Australia for $481AUD (about $315 USD), they were on special. I have no experience using an air fryer. I found your review really useful in showing the different things that you do with the air fryer. I have a lot of tomatoes from my garden and using it to make dried tomatoes is a really good idea.
I'll give an honest review, it's a Chinese made cheap piece of shit!!! I wasted $139 buying this on HSN and wouldn't recommend anyone buying it as mine lasted less than a year!!! Do your product research before you buy anything today. 👎📺💰
