My great uncle my nana brother from my mum’s side use to go to Pipc Newton when he came here from Samoa in the 1960s his name is Lauvao Opetaia and his wife Ioka Opetaia Rest In Peace to both of them ❤❤❤❤
Amazing breath control, dynamics, intonation and diction…what an awesome choir and great direction from the conductor/accompanist. Thank you for sharing this with the world. God be praised, Viia le Alii mo le taleni 🙏❤️😊
Talofa e... remembering all the PIPC Ministers and wives who were trained at the EFKS Malua Theological College in Samoa. Rev. Kenape Faletoese and Faletua Fa'avaoavaituutuu Rev. Leiite Setefano and Faletua Lealofisa Rev. Pelu Tuai and Faletua Funaki ...and many others whom i cannot remember
Would you have any video footage of Manukau PIC from before 98? Would be grateful if you could upload anything as we know it would have footage of a lot of our loved ones who have passed on.
Traditional Samoan entertainment. The people sitting are the singers and the man with no shirt is their fuataimi or conductor. A role that is not for everyone, you have to be brave, have good timing, be entertaining but most of all convey the emotion of words the choir is singing - with the right energy, facial expressions, actions and gestures. It is an artform in itself (being a Fuataimi) Might be shameful where you come from but in Samoa, it is a well respected role. Peace and love
Please whoever is conducting, 'Lo'u Atua e, o Oe o le Tupu' is not a comedian song. This Salamo was composed to PRAISE and WORSHIP GOD - E PA'IA MA MAMANA. Alofa atu. I don't understand they're pride, maybe when they meet those two coup's whose people's failed since when and all who been in on it since the beginning and yet I know it's just an magical coup de'tat by them too for an whole lot longer no matter what they'll all say, stay away from my magical journal because it was never those two K. & S. Initials who asked for my assistance gauranteed, it's not their gathered information, it's just mine about phenomenal and my finding's plus everything else, it never has belonged to anyone else no matter who they tried to convince no matter what religion they belong to ever or society.
Peter Tagaloa Su'a was my piano teacher and mentor at high school in Auckland, Mt.Albert. He was a talented and inspirational spirit who put his all, soul and being into making and playing wonderful music and being a muse to others who needed that nudge heading in the direction of success. I will never forget watching him play Alicia Keys (if i ain't got you) by ear and my goodness i was blown away. May his legacy as a proud and inspiring musician go on in time and in the hearts of us who knew, respected and cherished him.
