As a greek who worked " season " in summer in Hotels and Bars this summer the English were proper bozos , i have a soft spot for England and the players and the culture but England fans during International Matches are the nightmare that haunts me , On more than 10 diffrent occassions the staff including myself and the bouncers had to brawl English tourists who were trashing the place and causing problems to others because at any given moment there was 20-40 fully drunk English men being bellends. Racial abuse ( not black or white just other countries ) towards others from other countries you got it , throwing stuff and screaming " its coming home " you got it , jumping through the bar to get more drinks because " the boys want to get pissed when England lifts it " you got it , someone choking his own wife with an England Flag out of " happiness" you got it , chasing spanish tourists and assaulting spanish women during the final you got it , hitting the staff because some other idiot said ' Greece more Euros than England " you got it ( staff member didnt say anything it was another bastard English man aswell ) . I love the English dont get me wrong but the fact that your laws are more strict doesnt mean that when you go abroad you should start trashing the place because we are more lenient to you as tourists if anything you give people incentives to treat you like shit when they come to England.
