Behind-the-scenes stories from across the creator economy.
Every week, as part of the process of writing our newsletter, we spend an hour in conversation with a notable creator. Only a few parts of that conversation can make it into the newsletter - now you can listen in for every little story and piece of advice.
This channel features full episodes of our creator conversation podcast and highlight clips.

I know this has been pointed out before in another episode, but the background music really does get in the way of the conversation. It makes it harder to focus on what is being said. Maybe lower the background music volume so it doesn’t compete with the vocal audio?
Does Sean even realize that he starts off talking normally but then always goes into that vocal fry and stays there? I couldn't listen to this one because of it.
Same here, the vocal fry does make it hard to listen to. Sam Altman also has one and doesn’t sound good whether you’re a founder, manager, wherever you are in your life! They should teach this in school :)
Fun fact - Bird song is several decibels louder in cities compared to the country side due to having to literally shout over the sound of traffic. I figure its the same thing, but for attention. You need to start talking instantly or you just get swiped on to the next piece of meaningless content. Millennials still haven't adapted to the hell of tiktok and youtube shorts.
Such a good interview! Subscribed to TWJN! You mentioned you spoke with someone who had their newsletter acquired. Is that interview up or anywhere we can find it?
Glad you liked it! The other interview is here (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-fDUdeLvd_xs.html), audio-only. You can also read the article here (www.creatorspotlight.com/p/ali-abassi-ai-for-work).
Yeah, always rich to hear people boasting their "authenticity". Coming from this guy, especially. He's "branding" himself alright. When you're full of yourself, it's always a good thing to take a breather and self-reflect.
Don't even need to hear the argument. I also think ghost writing is bullshit. It allows people to think that famous people are much smarter than they are and makes writing look like something everyone can do. Its genuinely harmful to our society and to truth and merit.
