Not sure what happened in the last 2 months, but I have the same steamdeck as you and can load the game get to the beach and it either crashes or just freezes.
I watched your squad videos on steam deck, whenever I launch squad (with proton experimental attached) on my steam deck it says the "Corrupted Data found, please verify your installation." or something like that. Do you know how to fix this?

Great video. Would you recommend this game on steamdeck to just mess around and explore? I know the performance isn't great, but can it be consistent on procedural planets and space?
hey bro, hmm good question.. if you have no other option, it's ok. Not good but in buildings and other planets it runs quite stable. In space there are sometimes drops below 30 fps :/ Cities are the worst.
Hey there! In main branch would be some bugs like invisible body parts or heads for some characters. Official support recommend use [publicbeta]. I completed game month ago on deck and can approve public beta solve that invisible bugs.
hey no problem 🙂 yes there are many great games that run very well on the deck 🙂 if you don't have such high fps requirements, in general you should have a lot of fun
;) I finished 40th game on Steam Deck, GTA 5. Hey, I wanted to share with you information that in final mission in Grand Theft Auto 4 Complete Edition - you have a stage where you need to climb on a helicopter by tapping X button, easy? but - if you don't have a game FPS limited to 30 the screen jsut glitches and you loose, I had to force In Game Profile for FPS, and limit in to 30 for this specific mission. Problem exist from 2006, for dual core processors, and is knows issue. Still not fixed :[
hey bro thanks for the info, I generally recommend locking your fps for just playing 🙈 I only test without limits so that I can recognize differences after updates and compare 🙂
perfect no problem bro 🙏 hmm do you play fu with locked fps or without limits? I didn't have any problems with the graphics settings, but yes it doesn't make a big difference visually under 800p 🙈

not working properly at the moment :( with other protons it works but you have a black screen somehow.. just a graphic error :/ as soon as it works again there will be a new video
you can install windows then everything works :/ or with the xbox game pass under steam os it should work too :/ I have tried all of them but haven't tried them
@@FreddysGamingBenchmarks seen those windows tutorials they look complicated haha i just connected my xbox controller no imputs on steam n the game works
Actually not, the Steamdeck is a mobile PC and runs on Linux and also has the desktop mode where you can do everything :) So far I have only had input lag in games with activated frame generation or very poorly optimized games with under 20 FPS

Wait what, performance is definitely worse, even in the hub, with fsr 2, or even native, i was getting 60 fps at least with stutters, what happened I could even get highest settings without fsr somewhat playable,
