This deck looks really cool! Finally something that can revolve around my two copies of ruin mode XD IDK if this is a crazy thought, but would a single copy of junomon be worth considering as another way to recur a copy of ruin mode (or return cherubi) in addition to calling?
Junomon is a good card but in this deck might be tough because you definitely dont want to evo into something that wont give lethal nor wont help loop! You generally are able to have 2 level 5s at any point and 1 of them self deletes end if opp turn too! Glad you like the deck! Haha
You can play this with one ruin, you'll just occasionally end up with games where you don't see it. But I was on 1 ruin for a while. Can add DeathX if you have it, or a third lilith or underworlds calling to get another card that draws on discard.
Hitting crimson with the Gizu swing wasnt bad at all since other than popping ukko (which probably wanted to die) it didnt stop any plays, unlike if you had setup already and it turns off your ability to float into 5s.
Malomyotismon isn't really the main card you finish the game with, I just used it to trash 1 extra sec and show how it can loop out the engine. What was the bug, did you mean that Malomyotismon didn't delete an opponent's tamer? 😂
7:50 the rush effect is the one that is mandatory, but then is "you may attack" meaning, you decide if attack or no with the digimon with rush. Also remember partition doesn't work with battle, meaning if the opponent swing over Imperialdramon with something bigger than him, partition wont trigger. Technically can only by triggered by deletion effects.
Official site the card reads "Then, 1 of your Digimon may gain Rush for the turn and attack a player" This means that Rush is optional, when you do give the Digimon rush - it must attack the player to fully resolve.
Oh you are completely right. I didn't checked the errata section on the rules for this new set. But even with that, it doesn't change too much, usually you don't attack with that lv5, unless you are very confident that it wont die on security.
About the description: Maybe instead of posting a full deck list, you could post your list of "must includes" or a bare minimum core of the deck/engine, and then have a separate list of potential tech choices. That way you could both direct people towards a good build but also encourage creativity/thinking about matchups.
That's fair! I've actually figured out a way to drive this forward. I'll keep the format the same as is to stay within 20 minutes but also post my testing and lists tested on the community section!
11:15 Unless I'm missing some effect, you would only play 4 Digimon when you have Partition. Partition is interruptive, so it would play the P Shadra from digivolution cards before you get deleted, which means you no longer have the [On Deletion] inherited effect at the actual time of deletion. You just get the 2 from <Partition> and the 2 from FM's [On Deletion].
