Hey Maul, thx for sharing. It is comforting to know that those teams are a major problem even for somebody with your experience. It suck’s to have to fight 6 teams with double pepper, pophit, starwalker, and Garten/Hathor. Very frustrating indeed.
Hi Maul, love watching your videos, very interesting to what you are talking about. If you ever get time could you make a 3 star and 4 star video on war, for all the new players, I have been playing for about 4 or 5 months, as trying to getting to the fundamentals it is pretty hard when you don't have the roster that you have.I done my first war and got pulverised, which was fine as it was a learning curve. So thanks again for what you are doing, otherwise I would be completely baffled to what was going on. Keep up the good work.

Just so you know, AI defenses are scripted to survive with basically 1 hp when your attacking hero is supposed to kill them in theory. It was proven that defense does more damage than offense. Even if your goblin was double limit broken, he still wouldn't have killed Nautica. Nautica still would've survived with 1 hp. You can even see it in the last game too. When you hit madhammer, she survived with 1 hp as well. This game is so heavily scripted. But I guess that's the only way to keep it hanging on by a thread.
Double taunt is your best bet. I do DF, Ludwig, Nautica, Phorceys, Hippo and it works well. But with Atwood you need double taunt it's the best counter to priority dispel by a longshot imo.
@@sdinaro1 I don’t spend a lot. I’m honestly between 30-60 a month. I used to pay a lot over 18 months but had to pull way back. Would that be alright?
That does happen sometimes when I try to enter the battle and it says unknown target. Then I throw the team together again and sometimes miss the troops
The second hit with gazzelle and odette you doing technical mistake i think, you did twice fire gazelle then odette then firing other hero special, if im right you should activate gazelle us the other heroes special then activate odette, since gazelle dance gives more attack
Thanks for the comment. The reason I did that is because Odette makes the other heroes hit again and they hit really hard. She has a special that is like Darkfeather. Those extra hits ended up killing a couple of their heroes.
I will, but I'm waiting until I can face them a couple times. I don't want to just guess based on the cards. Ive faced the green guy a couole times at 2LB and he went down both times w/o firing... so, I still need a better understanding of how good they really are. Shouldn't take too long tho

I got 2 hatter costumes last challenge event off 10 pulls. I figured my luck is run out. Had 8 free ones here with 2 more coming from pov, but i expect nothing 😅
Dude luck has been crazy I got 3 scopes and 2 tabbards on Friday. On Saturday I got rings with a B Grade on titan. I was assuming because I'm not spending but maybe they're just distributing mats more often.
So your AAR was pretty spot on. I don't know if phenexa is good for that team at all it would seem the faster healing Hathor would be better because the not charged heroes would stay alive. Is the Hathor costume? Or just regular? Because the costume bonus gives a 100 percent guaranteed passive extra mana 🤔 But also as I see you have rocket. The current tests aside is rocket worth it? I feel his "damage later and not immediately" can be an extreme hindrance considering the enemy team can kill you in one turn I pulled rocket on his release day and I still haven't decided if he's worth mats which sucks cuz I was super excited to get him day one
Thanks! and that is a great question about Rocket. I leveled him up and I still can't tell if he's a good hero or not. I think the real answer here is that he is probably REALLY good against certain defenses and not very good against other types. I just haven't figured out exactly where he fits in yet. I "think" he's best against defenses with weak healing. I might try pairing him up with Xiaotu and see if that combo helps him to shine.
Yeah legendary troops make a huge difference. I now have resorted to mono teams and roll the dice because even my hardest hitting 3-2 teams can't kill a side and when up against all hathor or Nautica tanks they just heal it away before I can set off my next volley. Timius starwalker Pophit, Ray pepperflame marjana, not strong enough
I have also gone back to 4/1 or mono. Little chance to take anyone above 6300 out with tiles on 3/2 or 3/1/1/ unless you get either lucky or have god heroes.
Nautica is a pain in a$$. I don't have a consistent answer for her yet, either. But, short of her... him?? it? they??... ummm, short of Nautica with all 5* troops; many of the old teams still work. Now, just like it was a year ago, if you're fighting a meta defense then you gotta have a meta attack team, but, don't give up on innovation. I'm trying a team now with Hypnos, Pepper, and Xioatu. I need to get the healer and defensive hero right, but I like that team so far.
@@sdinaro1 in my experience they don't work just like they used to because the HP increase isn't equivalent to the attack increase so the setups that used to kill don't anymore even with legendary troops. I've gone through dozens and dozens of flasks testing and can't seem to get anything to work with solid consistency Edit to add that in tournaments my teams function very well when everyone is limited to 4* troops. I'm in a top 30 alliance though so the teams I face in war are more difficult when you have to beat them 6 times with different teams than in tournaments or raids where I can reuse heroes
@@sdinaro1 I don't get too excited or frustrated one way or another. After all, I am German. 😀. I am leading a middling alliance (Flaming Embers). Typically, we will face about 3-4 6k plus opponents whereby the range is usually in the lower 6ks. Back a year ago, a team with Guardian Jackal, Diaochan, Erlang She, Joon (2c), and Xandrella would win about 80% against a purple tank. That team now doesn't do a whole lot because yellow tiles simply can't kill the tank unless I get an abundance of it. Xandrella also lost a bit of her power as many heroes - like the toons and some of the owls - resist her power. I am adapting by going mono or using teams with at least two meta heroes. I have gotten some (Farrah, Toon Marjana, Toon Azlar, Toon Sartana, Timius, Verus), I also include Xandrella and Waterpipe in this list. Lemonwood and Starwalker are getting close to 4/80. I just pulled Carta which is finally a meta healer and also recent got The Hatter and its costume. Will take a while to level as usual which just means that by the time they are levelled up they are close to obsolete. 😁 it's pretty amazing to see how strong the meta heroes are. The base value of Carta is almost as strong as a fully maxed, costumed Nashgar with 20 emblems. It's a bit sad to see that beloved heroes like Heimdall, Morel, Adalinda lost their effectiveness. Everybody was dying to get Morel a few years back. Now, 180% damage is just a tickle. I am surprised you still need heroes. You pretty much have everything one can wish for. Btw, one question to which you know perhaps the answer. How does one score 7 million points on a mythic titan attack? I was very happy with a 450k attack with my purple mono team while using tornados and scrolls. I can't even fathom how one gets to seven million as the leader did.
If you'd like to join, just request an invite and they will let you in. That is very much a learning and teaching alliance, so I don't screen anyone out. I believe they should have a few opening right now, too.

Lol, yes! yes! I've been working about 16 hrs a day on my other RU-vid channel called, Truth Revealed. I'll always be dedicated to this channel, for sure. But, that other channel is a culmination of my life's work and really has the potential to be life changing for me. SO... long story short is that I finally figured out a goof format for it and now I'm working hard to launch it in a way that it has a chance to gain some traction. But, I'll be back to posting regularly here very soon!
