I swear if this had "Ford" Badge would be 2.5 million rand! Pseries proving itself now over years, but ngeke 14litres to the 100 and it's a HEV? It should be lower than 9 (more work needed in that front me thinks) but then again, road menaces must have been test driving this car!
You hit the mark right there. This bakkie is great. As for fuel consumption, I assume we might need to have a long term test but I'm sure you will the high 10l/100km.... I think the HEV is more for performance here.
Bakkies are not for 0-100, they are workhorses. They are overdoing it with all these fancy stuff like electrical adjustable rear seats. They could focus on giving it off-road tech, ability to power appliances off-grid e.t.c
You need to do some research on this bakkie regarding "offroad tech" as you mentioned. Its arguably the best with whats featured, only a few of them gave 3 differential locks,mud,snow,rocks,sport, sand modes just to mention a few.
