I found the insights into Jasmin’s training & achievements over many years to be inspiring & shows the need for dedication. More of this type of insight would be helpful.
Best interview to date on women’s racing. Thank you Sarah and Skye for making incredible talking points and bringing things to light that usual go unspoken.
Thank you to Skye and Sarah for saying all of this! I've noticed at the press conferences the questions lobbed at women have nothing to do with the racing. And loved that moment when Taylor Knibb at one post-race press conference (Lahti, maybe?) denied the soft lifestyle question lobbed at her and instead corrected the moderator to say that she should ask a better question. Then Taylor proceeded to answer the technical question about racing as part of advice for the men who were racing the next day. Well done! Please hold organizers to a higher standard for how they do storytelling around women!
So many good points made here by Sarah and Skye, and sad to hear in 2023 that it's still is coming down to how a women looks to gain good sponsorship deals. This year the women's event in KONA shone and it was an incredible race and gripping to the end.
Excellent conversation by some very smart and strong women. Speaking as a 54 year old man who has EXTENSIVELY followed the pro triathlon scene since 1985, I personally now enjoy the women's races more than the men's. Kona was phenomenal! I had the pleasure of watching the U.S. Open in person this year - which was incredible too (and ironically had some minor pre-race smack talk between Nibb and Gentle). Keep the great content coming!
Give it a try to let backstories build up …. It’s a way to start attract people to her sport, to make understand the fatigue which stands behind results and generate wealth at the end. It’s a start … woman’s sport will experience growth over time and the next generation will collect the fruit’s … don’t worry Said by a 58 old man
Sad to see Laurent Vidal....and then Lukas had a terrible accident which ended his short truathlon career. Never take things for granted because life is finite.
Yes. The older bikes can hold their own. You know why? Because it doesn’t matter how bikes are shaped. They all produce roughly the same (small) amount of drag.
Hey guys, I'm putting together a fun little instagram video about doing Neptune Steps at home in the backyard since it got cancelled this year. Would you mind if I pulled a few clips from this video to insert for some b roll on my at home make-shift video Neptune Steps? It's just for some laughs and fun :)
Mark, how are you? Do you still have a price on my head for spreading information about your corruption, your take on Citizenship by Investment? Telling your citizens, telling the media when you were marketing your program in Iran, Iraq, Yemen, Syria. Did you like that 60 Minutes story? Did I cost you that $10 million your spouse was to receive as the realtor agent for that Condo project on Nevis putting 17 buildings on four acres, what was it 70 units at $400,000 each? Nice to touch base
