What is the whole point of the 2 step To be able to launch right? So how can you launch in neutral can you not have the to step on with your foot on the brake and the car in drive

I just went thru the same shit. I dropped the tank completely out and scooted out from under the car to get better access. Was still a major pain in the ass but was able to fish those connections out a tad easier. Now I need to put it back in sometime this week. Also did the SMG auxiliary fuel pump where you drill/tap the back passenger corner of the fuel tank. That was it's own shit show and took a bath in E85. But it's done finally.....almost. LMAO
