HR's are great, but even better when there are people on base before there hit. Turang is improving at the plate and more players should really look at what he is doing. Not everyone needs to hit the HR.
Interesting video, small ball still has its place in the modern game. Exciting to see a big league player going back to the basics and finding a way to best utilize his talents.
The Phillies destroyed Scott Kingery's entire career by trying to turn him into something he's not via their obsession with launch angle. Good on Brice Turang for realize he can't be that type of hitter and going back to what he was able to do so well his entire life. Baseball needs more hitters and players like Brice Turang.

@@whitemonstrius I know Turang is 24. My point is that having just turned 27, Hoerner's still very young. And what does being a lefty have to do with anything? Over time, I think Hoerner's the better player. Again, spectacular defender. As a shortstop, he led the league in Outs Above Average (a statistic that takes into account range and difficulty of plays), and was last year's Gold Glove second baseman. He only moved to second when Dansby Swanson was acquired.
@@rickrose5377 last year turang had 12 defensive runs saved, hoerner had 8. Turang led the league in Uzr (look it up what that means) and leads the league in double play balls above average and it’s not close. Turang not winning a gold glove his rookie year doesn’t mean anything, and cool, jake bauers can pitch. why would shortstop matter. Gold glove is a mickey mouse award
I am an NFL draft guru. I scout NCAA talent all season and offseason long and i really know a LOT about draftees in the NFL . Baseball scouting on the other hand is INSANE . The best players do not come from the draft most seasons and if you are not scouting 6 countries you don't know shit . So those of you who follow MLB drafts and know what you are talking about are wildly locked into baseball. I could not do it.

The problem is everyone is waiting for the floor to fall out of Myers as a Starting pitcher. I think the other will be the reality of this guy and think he gets better and better. Tobias Myers adds one more pitch and he has lots more to develop into . Myers is looking like a guy who pitches for a long time in this MLB and a guy who can shave his current 2.17 ERA through his starts since his last call up from AAA down . If they could get him out of the 1st and 2nd innings clean they have a rookie of the year candidate. Tobias is out preforming his status . No doubt but the Gasser injury may just give the Brewers another Colin Rea they would have moved off of had Gasser not rebuilt his arm. He is by far the finest pitcher to watch on this Team on any given start even before his last trip down then back up. I do not know what long term outlook build with Myers but from what I see you are looking at a pitcher who is finding his confidence at a level he has never found before in his entire life. So while it is unseen ground . The chances of him maintaining this level of play is being swept under many MLB tables. Tobias Myers is not being talked about enough in mainstream . The kid is killing it and the entire league is silent about him as a star and it could not be more wrong. The media is so sure he will eventually fail that there is no hype around the guy who is doing what rookie pitchers simply do not do very often through history . Myers is the best pitcher in the Brewers starting rotation right now. His ERA is better than Rea or Freddy and he looks better than both pitchers every start. His fastball coming in at 95 MPH which is a 3 Mph faster than it was supposed to be going when his scouting report came out at the start of 2024. His Sweeper is a new pitch for the 24' season and its just now starting to move properly so as that pitch becomes more of a natural pitch for Myers he should get his strike outs up and make his pitching even more ACE like. Joel Payamps is the Eric Gagne of 2024 . There is to much talent in the Bullpen to be using him for any pitching that is not a lead late in ballgames. The guy has NEVER been good despite a lucky 2023 where he had a handful of quality innings. The guy will give each hitter at least 1 pitch that can go homer. He may not be the worst like Gagne but he is the worst in the Crew's bullpen and that is enough reason to move the guy. With the need for these playoff contenders in their Bullpens Payamps value before the trade deadline is enough to make the move and get anything you can for a pitcher who is bringing down the best Bullpen group in baseball. Garrett Mitchell is OVERRATED and should be packaged to move at deadline as he is EXACTALLY the player the White Sox are begging for for Garrett Crochet. I know the media wants everyone to believe the Brewers are not in the conversation for Garrett Crochet due to the previous record of passing on mid season blockbusters and staying the course when it comes to pitching and all player acquisitions. I believe in any other situation of the past this is good thinking. In this instance however I do believe the Brewers are players in this trade. i do believe they are planning to make an offer to acquire Garrett Crochet . I also think the acquisition of Rays pitcher Aaron Civale does not change this aim. I think Dallas K is a silly joke and won't be the guy who pitches starts for very long past the trade deadline with or without an obvious pitcher being found to replace him . He is not the guy to pitch this team into a Pennant and his being here now is trade subterfuge and not an honest attempt to make the rotation as good as possible. Garrett Crochet IS . I know the hype has been loud about him at the trade deadline which is not your typical Brewers trade target but the difference in Crochet Vs any pitcher the Brewers have had a real shot at acquiring mid season. I believe the showing of Eric Haas, Garrett Mitchell, Vinnie Capria, Carlos Rodriguez were previews of players the White Sox are interested in acquiring for Crochet. This is why the White Socks Scout has traveled with the Brewers for both of these road series and the Brewers are playing uncommon starters through these two series. Crochet is so more valuable than his on field play with his control period being 2 years beyond 2024 with the ability to extended his arbitration a couple years on top of that in the bag also possible. This makes this guy well worth the investment it will take to acquire him. Yes it will cost the Brewers some talent . Garrett Mitchell is a prefect trade piece as the Brewers have Golden Gloves across the outfield already and those same guys are core offensive pieces who do not need replacing . Yes Mitchell has a lot of hype and potential. Yes the Brewers actually believe in him. Yes none of that matters because he was beaten out for work because of injury and Perkins is a better option and i am not even slightly kidding that I believe when Perkins is solidified and is not always worried about losing his job he can become a solid .275 hitter with a Gold Glove level defense behind that. So the best thing for this team would be to move the distraction that is Garrett Mitchell and just buy into Perkins as "THE guy". Garrett Mitchell is EXACTALLY what the Sox have publicly said are they types of players they are asking for Crochet. It will take a Mitchell, Weimer, Carlos Rodriguez, Brock Wilken (thanks Cooper Pratt for making him expendable)Joel Payamps, Haas and Vinnie Capria. SO BE IT! That or just sign the Pitcher who cannot be named from MEXICO AND WIN THE ENTIRE THING AT LEAGUE MINIMUM !
Carlos Rodriguez looked like not ready but evaluating a pitching night with that ump was almost impossible. I think Freddy must be hiding an injury . There is something wrong with Freddy and its not just a few bad outings . I think Freddy has something he needs checked out. But maybe he just fighting mechanics .

Friendly and completely and totally erased . I work off these posts and use these chat spaces to work . When my post just vanish immediately after I post them who am I supposed to blame? I get no notifications as to why they get taken down which happens if it is You tube complaining . So that implies the content creator took them into shadow ban territory normally . If you did not do it then there is a major issue with you Tube chat right now . I am sorry if you did not do it but I have contacted You Tube about it and they even said it was probably the channels creator who did this but they would be contacting you to figure it out . If you did not do it I am sorry . But that shit is frustrating when you write a topic that gets taken down before I can even publish it across the Tube. I use You Tube Chat to write work ups for my articles and see what topics are popular with fans through this Chat space before i bring a story my name. So when I write a big story and it vanishes without a notification from You Tube it is not usual unless the content creator is shadow banning the Chat. Nothing I wrote violated the Terms of service or was even unfriendly to anyone . My posts just vanish and I have to constantly switch accounts to even get one message to stick right now here and it usually only last for one post. I appologize to you if you did not erase the Posts this and i will resubscribe right now since you are saying it is not you doing it. So the issue is I write on these Chats as somewhat of a rough draft for articles . I use these chat spaces to see what people are talking about and what interests them before I make a real article for print. So when I write something and post it I intend to post it several places across Brewers Pods and MLB Pods to see what popular and what is less popular .
