Lures, Stalking and Specialist fishing. Hunting all Specimens in Hampshire, Surrey and Berkshire. Uploading is currently sporadic but I’m hoping the videos will be worth the wait when they come! Videos are my own, edited by myself and are filmed on an IPhone XS Max or GoPro Hero 8, they are not currently sponsored or monetised.
Do you still fish church farm much ? Wouldn’t mind seeing some more videos on the donut came across your channel not so long ago and was liking those got my first take on there yesterday but sadly lost it on a solid bag ! Really cool video keep it up man 😀
@@Fishingfunwithluke I haven’t fished Church Farm for a fair few years now, I might have to try it on a day ticket soon! From memory everyone obviously casts towards the island but i caught well just going a few rod lengths out, also if you can get to a showing fish then you’re on them 😄
@@themobileangler yeah its a really nice lake but just havent had the time to put in enough effort down there gonna do a few proper sessions and try and get on em thanks for the advice !
Hi buddy hope you’re well I’ve only just seen your videos about church farm I normally follow your pike sessions this year Im thinking of taking my son carp fishing there this weekend 🎣🐟👍🏻 have you fished it recently and any tips where to head for a good bite thanks 👍🏻
Subscribed. From southern Sweden, pike fishing mecca Blekinge but has only been piking since may. Only had one 90cm, the rest 14 smaller. Havent had any since oct. Hoping to cath more when the snow is gone here, should be soon. Im hoping and wishing for more pike videos! Its the only fishing i find interesting, want big fishes not small perchminnows as i call them :)
Have the SG jerksters 135mm. Found it ok. I do like and recommend the Buster/Westin/Scout Swim models to all jerkers, easy to impart the right action and also have their own action on straight retrieve so is almost like 2 in 1 which is very nice as prices for jerkbaits are a bit high I think. Only buy on sellouts but got all available here in Sweden, except the freestyler but will buy in the end of January.
I’ve tried for carp a few times and lost what I think was a decent size carp and I’ve been battered by the bream I’ve been told there some nice carp in there and cat fish do u know off any ?
Yeah I’ve seen pictures of the catfish in there, I’m pretty sure I lost one a while back too. Carp up to 30lb I think but not a huge head of fish in there
I’ve not been to the Blackwater yet this season, got some sessions on the Kennet and Thames planned for Pike in the next weeks🤞🏻I’ve fished the Blackwater from above Lakeside park all the way to Eversley, what kind of catches have you had?
I’ve had big chub I’ve lost like on spam I’ve had koi carp I’d send u photos but can’t on here I love fishing the black water river I know some spots where no one goes my mate won’t come give it a bash with me and really want some one to have an adventure with on the black water river because it’s unknown off what’s in there I’ve seen some big fish I fish by notrh camp and I fish in black water by the train station
Hiya, I've just started up fishing again & have the Basingstoke canal on doorstep. What's the lure your using called? Thanks for the vid, love it ,nice healthy fish.
The Basingstoke Canal can be fantastic for Pike and Perch on it’s day, in the video description I’ve got the whole set up I used - I tend to fish 5-9cm shads on 1/0 or 2/0 EWG hooks as the water is fairly shallow in most places but can add jig heads or cheb weights if I need to go deeper, but a maximum of about 3g
@@themobileangler Nice 1, I'll check it out. I've watched a few more vids, impressive! I'm further north , Thames at Chertsey, canal Woking to Weybridge, so enough to keep me at it. Cheers.
I've x2 10ft 3.5 tc rods(pike) in same bag the outer compartment is for another rod (preferably in the dwarf skin)is its designated design I havent looked back since purchase I've also shimano 6010's that fit comfortably great bit of kit never getting rid but looking at the transporter bag to as the dwarf transporter bags great for everything in 1 tackle box bait + nice vid hope you pass ya exams 👍
I use a 6lb Titanium Nitinol trace, tiny swivel one end and a micro snap at the lure end. Just in case there are Pike around, I’d rather not leave hooks and line in Pike and haven’t found that Chub are too put off at all!
Hi, ik you posted this ages ago, but just before lockdown, I went kayaking down the Basingstoke, and found a spinner exactly like the one in 2:16 on the same or very similar area of the canal, there is a small pub the otherside of the river somewhere nearby. I have it here rn lol
Looking forward o the fishing. New to Ireland, but as soon as my gear arrives i will be hitting the water. For now looking to sort permits for different type of fish. Tank you for the video. Makes me excitedly looking forward to getting out there
Really enjoying your videos, you fish all the old spots I used to love when I lived in Hartley Wintney. That swim you had the big pike in has been an absolute banker for big chub on baits and lures and I once had 3lb 11oz perch about 50yds down stream on a Carolina rigged crayfish lure. I think it's run on a twyford and district ticket these days, but I fished it back in 2000-2010. Keep up the footage as it gets me looking forward to heading back over Christmas when I usually sneak in a session on the Blackwater or Basingstoke canal!
Wowww! Never seen or heard of that kind of size Perch from the Blackwater. Yes the stretch is run by Twyford and District, I was never able to bump into one of the chub around that area though it’s got great form for it
@@themobileangler ridiculous isn't it, I still have the photo of it even though it was taken on a potato. It was in the big nearside eddy which is just down stream of where you had the pike. That stretch is unreal, slowly bouncing crayfish lures along the bottom when it's low and clear was lethal.
my kind of fishing. Those riverbanks look lovely. You can see the urban development sprawling slowly each year towards the river where i fish. Enjoy it while it's there mate.
use a sewing needle, push them on a needle then thread some line through the eye and push them onto the line, or if you have the original tab one of them.
I live literally 500 yards away and have done for the last three years but yet I still travel back and forth to my old lake 2 hour round trip. Happy to say I’ll be on the island lake for the first time this weekend. Made the decision to give the lakes around here ago this year. Your vids are definitely helpful mate cheers 👍🏼
@@mlkogk9928 It’s an old Shakespeare Light game rod that I’ve had since I was little, I don’t think I even know the model type sorry, I now use a Watercraft 7ft 3-14g rod as the Shakespeare rod was just a bit short and floppy
Only just found this video. Great to watch and absolutely my favourite way to fish the Micro Frogs. I hope this June 16th is even better. All the best Tom
Leave East London for 5 minutes and someone nicks your spot!! 😜 Great vid mate, and well done for getting a couple of fish that area is rock hard in winter! You tried the docks yet? 😀
