Lao-Shan Lung is still probably my favorite example of leitmotif usage in the entire series. It’s just integrated so well and ties the three themes used beautifully. It might be part of why I only really like Proof of a Hero’s usage with it, Ahtal-Ka, and Safi’jiiva.

Rathalos not playing its own theme is a SIN. it is tradition in its intro to play forest and hills(go look 4u world, ect..) thank you for fixing this issue. Subscribed. it feels much better now.
One thing I’m hoping wilds does is that they add back more monster’s themes like rathalos having the forest and hills, and rathian having the MH1 jungle
I wondered if someone would catch that, the entire anjanath intro is meant to be a reference to world with the ghillie mantle hiding music, and the abiorugu theme references the rising strings that play when the battle theme changes from another monster entering the area
These are all so amazing!! I think my favorite would have to be chamaleos, the playful part of its theme turning into the more dramatic section as it reveals itself is just fantastic!!
Are you editing MHW to replace a particular theme for the seregios or is it an audio edit? If you have modded music, I'm interested, I try to do the theme but it's real hell to complete the music TwT
