I think there are segments of Holly Springs where this is more prevalent than others. I try to be transparent and hope that I hit some of your concerns with my cons. Curious, do you another town in the Raleigh-Durham area you prefer?
@@BlakeLawless-qf8ip there are some new construction opportunities in Chapel Hill now, but compared to other towns and cities in the Triangle, there have been very limited new construction opportunities. The population of Chapel Hill has not exploded over the past decade like Durham, Raleigh, Cary, Apex, etc. and this is in large part because of the lack of new construction in Chapel Hill.
@@movingtoraleighdurham No, they have constructed multiple large apartment complexes all over CH and nobody lives in them. You're right about the population not exploding but very wrong about the construction. Do you even live there?
@@BlakeLawless-qf8ipthis channel is about buying and selling in the Raleigh-Durham area. My content is not about apartment complexes. Yes, I agree there are many new construction apartments in Chapel Hill. However, there aren’t a lot of new construction townhome or single family communities to purchase in Chapel Hill. That is an accurate statement just as your statement about more new construction apartments is accurate. Both can be true. I’ve lived here almost my entire life and sell a lot of homes here. Thanks for your feedback!
Geographically, Holly Spring is pretty close to directly south of Durham. You can take Highway 55 directly south from Durham all the way to Holly Springs. I did not intend for directly south to mean the next town below. I do show a map and mention that there are other towns closer to Durham like Cary and Apex.
Thanks for the video! I'm thinking of moving from Florida and I'm curious about schools. Also, it'd be great to know more about traffic and weather throughout the year, especially if tornadoes are a thing there?!
Cary is known for it's excellent schools--some of the best not only in the Raleigh-Durham area but in all of North Carolina. Traffic in Cary is typically not bad at all. Cary's central location makes it easy to get anywhere in the area. If you have to get on highway 40 during rush hour, that's typically where you will see the most traffic. As for weather, Cary and all of the Triangle area gets all four seasons, but in moderation. Our summers certainly do get hot, but not nearly as hot as Florida. I would be happy to chat when you're ready to discuss your move. Feel free to email me at info@keithorealty.com
Hopefully Disney had some good lessons learned from what they tried in Celebration. With Asteria being the second one, I'm hoping the NC version can learn from what goes well and doesn't go well with the one in California.
What about apartments? We are early retirees (professionals) and don’t care about schools - just finding a nice affordable apartment at around 1K for 1 bed 1 bath… do you help with that as well?
I think you will be able to find some great options for a 1 bedroom apartment at that price point or just slightly above. I only work with buyers and sellers, so I would be happy to help if you end up thinking buying makes more sense for you.
Yes, some of the communities do sell to investors. Not all of them do and some do but have a cap/limit on the number of investors. Do you have a particular one you are interested in?
@@geethanjalilns1050 unfortunately, the Utley Farms and Gracewood are still in their very early stages of development and have not released pricing or if they will be open to investors yet. If you send me an email at info@keithorealty.com with your price range, I'm happy to suggest some other options that may be a good fit!
The Wake County property taxes certainly can be a negative compared to other counties across NC. However, Wake is lower than Durham and Orange County (Chapel Hill).
I thought it ironic after you praised upscale Fenton and noted the high cost of living a RU-vid ad appeared (not your choice or fault) for selling female human eggs for $5500. Is that what it takes to buy a purse in Fenton? Maybe two visits?
That is an ironic/comical ad placement! 😂 You are right that I have no control over what ads RU-vid selects or where they decide to place them. Hopefully you’ll be able to save the $5,500 in this case and use it toward buying a home in Cary. 😀
Truly mesmerizing content! Each video is a captivating blend of brilliance and information, making learning an absolute delight. Keep weaving the magic! ❤❤
"Absolutely mesmerizing, sir! Your content doesn't just inform; it takes us on a thrilling exploration of knowledge and entertainment. It's a true masterpiece, and I can't wait to see more! 🌟📚✨"
Im 45 but interested in the 55+ community...can we lock in a home and lot in advance before age 55+ Lol! ;) Also do you know if we can become members of the club without living there?
Doesn't hurt to start planning early! It is possible it could be a certain segment is geared for 55+, but not everyone in that section has to be 55+. With this being a brand new announcement, we don't have a ton of details yet. I'll be keeping my eye on the Cotino community in California to see how things play out like if you can reserve early and whether you can be in the members club without living there.
