Overall I liked dark souls 3 more than 1 but I almost got a perfect score and did horribly on the ds3 boss theme quiz. Ds1 def had more diverse music than 3
Man, this goes to show how unique most of these tracks are for me. I INSTANTLY knew what theme it was the moment it played. Besides the Celestial Emissary and the witch of hemwick because they die too fast. Also Ebritetas too cuz It didn't jump out to me.
Recognised all the remembrance bosses (as well as a couple others), and filed everything else under "generic filler boss", because I refuse to acknowledge a boss that gets reused 3+ times, with the only difference being health and damage
Actually distinct, fitting and recognisable music for every boss. Imagine that. Sure is nicer than senseless constant choir with epic orchestra going AAAAA. How we've fallen
I got these right: 2 3 4 6 9 10 11 12 13 15 16 17 19 20. So 14/21. One thing I really like about BB OSTs is that they are really distinguishable, unlike OSTs in Souls games where I couldn't tell which is which. I also listen to these OSTs a lot more, which helps.
Since I've played DS1 the least, only around 200-300 hours total, I'm amazed that I got them all. I damn near failed at Four Kings because it's the mid section of that theme that's memorable and you took the start which sounds a lot alike with many other themes, but after that it was a breeze.
There was only five of the themes I was unsure of. 1. was iudex/champion gundyr ONLY becuase I rarely go for him. 2. was halflight since I normally just kill him in like 10 seconds 3. was demon prince since I'm always too focused on the fight 4. was champions gravetender, again, because I rarely go for him(her?) 5. was high lord (drip)wolnir since he normally dies too fast to hear much of his theme
I have 2.6k hours on this game. I was able to guess every single Elden Ring theme within 6 seconds while I only have 400 hours on that game. This won't be a challenge for me, LMAO!
