Hi doc, Male 25,My knee MRI shows Meniscus Tear of grade 3 on the posterior horn of medial meniscus - left knee I was undergoing physiotherapy before it for the past 2 months until MRI showed positive result. Pain : only when I sit with cross legs down, or any twist moment Knee joint gets stuck for a second when bent while doing weight bearing activities like walking downstairs, when doing left knee forward lunges, jumping solely on the left knee, running etc. Please let me know whether it can heal through rest and physiotherapy, if not, then can it be repaired, as i dont want it to get removed

Hello Doctor Your explantion and videos are really good for common people to understand these injuries and treatments really well. I have had a full grade ACL tear around 4-5 years back during a MMA sparring fight . The last MRI was done after the injury , i am a bodybuilder and i am able to do all execrises pretty well with a good amount of weight . There are slight issues and temporary pain sometimes like on prolong standing etc. I was worrried about further injuries to other areas of my knee as i used to read and see this online. I am planning to get a MRI done again for preventive purpose. I will surely like to consult you in person or will send you my fresh report as well. And also i really liked you explaining how we people skip execises for helping muscles like rotator cuff , or for other joint pain . We dont focus on them as we are onlt really focused on cosmetic appeal but we should be really working on the helping muscles and ligamnets strengthening as well cause that will help in prevention .
