The problem that you seem to be having, don’t quote me lol, but it seems to be the bottom tension. Both the top and bottom tensions have to be almost perfect for the stitching to align. There is a RU-vidr named Stephen Jones that has a good video on the tension. Hope this helps. Jackets are looking dope.

As a merchandise owner I can understand the whole process needs a lots of struggle in each step 1. Pattern Design 2. Cutting 3. Printing 4. Stitching 5. Threading 6. Packaging 7. Shipping
So when it comes to whether you experience so far is good or bad or "normal," I think we need to take a step back and realize that manufacturing garments from scratch is an everyday thing to these guys. For you and me the idea of manufacturing a fully custom garment is huge. It's what separates small upcoming brands and elevates us as brand owners, but to the manufactures it's just another Monday morning doing what they do every day, which is both good and bad. It's good because in theory we can rely on the manufacturer to produce what we need them to, but it can also be bad because the manufacturer may or may not respect us or take us as seriously as we take ourselves. They may see you as a small fish and feel they don't need you to come by because that would just take up their time and they may not necessarily care about getting the garment pixel perfect like they would with a client ordering hundreds or thousands of pieces. That's why a lot of videos you see about finding and working with manufacturers almost always mention working with different people and finding that one you can trust and work with on a regular basis. It's just like every industry where one company may outperform another for the same cost. So if you feel the manufacturer isn't respecting you or working FOR you then you should look at other options for future projects. I just watched the full video... I guess maybe you can't trust every manufacturer to actually be able to execute the plans, but that also may go back to the idea that they don't care to get it perfect... idk, but I hope you find something that works for you and someone who respects you
