Nice boat. Got the same make, model and year but a red version. Have been enjoying it for a couple of years now. I’d like to get a top like yours for some rain and sun protection. Any idea where I could find that?
I love watching your videos. We have some cabins on the lake and when I can't get up there for vacation, I watch some of your videos. I can tell exactly where you are on the lake just by the shoreline. I say "oh they're at fleck's rock, they're at the mouth of the channel, they're just off our beach. The watering hole, Joe's point, rainy creek!" It feels good to see it all again. Thanks Don't let the bears at the dump get you and thanks for throwing the fish back for us to try to catch. :)
Auto chart live was the feature that drew me to the helix 5 years ago. I also upgraded to the Helix 8 this past summer. Almost wish I got the 9 as it’s the same size and would have taken the same space on my kayak. Also comes with the screen cover.
I have a 2007 25hp 4 stroke Mercury outboard with an idling issue. It starts fine,with high idle lever up.But when I lower the lever and try to engage the shifter down into reverse it dies. Would this part fix the issue? I’m new to boating and live in east,central Illinois and our boating season is short. Any suggestions are graciously appreciated.
I have a tohatsu 30 four stroke. Maybe the same engine block as yours, same symptoms and it cost me a fishing trip. The iac valve or Isc valve was rusted so badly that it wouldn't hold pressure. I just replaced it and it works well. It's nearly identical to a Mazda car iac valve and really not marine quality . Its hidden low in the lower cowling and behind a bunch of wires on my motor and not very easy to see.

I’d have to get my manual out to be sure, but I believe varied rpm’s for first 2 hours total. Full throttle for 1 minute every 10 minutes. These new engines have a memory box in them that the techs can see everything so to be sure I’d check your owners manual for your specific motor and follow that. If you don’t have manual they are easy enough to find online
My manual says 1 minutes full throttle every 10 minutes during the second hour. Does any one know if this is supposed to be continuous. I mean can I stop and fish for a few then get back to it
Some good bass action. We have amazing bass fishing here in NW Ontario but I am sure the extra 15 hours drive north for you would be a bit much lol. That big bass is a tank!

I just purchased a 2022 30HP ELPT and it started having the same symptoms after about 4 hours of use/breaking in. Motor stalled after slowing down from WOT and took about 3 attempts to crank over. Called dealer and said they haven't heard of any of the smaller motors having this issue and I need to bring it in for diagnostics. They don't make em like they use to I guess.
