I was in Socorro a couple weeks ago, and had similarly awesome experiences, albeit with less awesome videography. The Mantas are huge and especially curious about divers. The white tip sharks were everywhere, we got a couple passes from a school of hammer heads. No whale sharks, but the dolphins were playful.

First: amazing footage. Really great Second: can you tell if this is the “normal” dive in Socorro or were you extremely lucky? Third: are whale sharks common there?
Thanks so much!!! This is all from one week of diving in December, if you hit Socorro right it can be one of the best in the world! I was extremely lucky though. I've been 3 times total and have had epic encounters every time. Whale sharks are common in November, December, and May. I'll message you with more details.
Absolutely incredible video, you got some spectacular shots. Diving here looks absolutely incredible and your diving equipment really captured everything so well and with some great image quality. At least 4-5 times we were audibly yelling about how awesome these shots were. Thanks for sharing.
