Haha, glad I could help. I’ve actually had one or two global variables like these change on a PC only I used, so it had to be a user error or a glitch in the matrix 😄
drive.google.com/file/d/1S8v36hrRmqbLNaSkPvNnT_YzA8fiKIhh/view Try this. FYI, I didn’t test this and didn’t get a response when someone else asked for this in the comments.
OMFG. I was driving myself crazy trying to figure how how to do this for almost an HOUR now. And you solved my problem in not even 2 mins. I don't know you but i love you.
Hi! As far as I know Revit schedules do support text parameter formulas. That said, after a quick google, it seems someone made a tool for this. davidwooddesign.com/2022/01/31/how-to-split-text-at-a-character-using-propertywizard-for-revit/
we really thankyou for making this free, i will most definitely start promoting it in my socials to gain more attention hopefully you will get a big deal out of it.
Thank you so much for the kind words and for promoting this! The knowledge I’ve gained from creating and maintaining this is invaluable, so I feel like I’ve already scored a big deal :) I also really appreciate everyone who has tried this and provided feedback. I’m going to confidently say that the toolset will always be free :D I see it as a project car that I’ve invested time and money in, then brought to a car show for others to enjoy. It’s a great feeling to know others appreciate this. Wishing you all the best this holiday season and a fantastic new year!
@@letsbimtogether I am wishing you all the best as well, I may not know you personally but from the Architecture community I think we are not appreciating people like you enough, ThankYou for contributing to making this Great tool I am sure more exciting stuff is coming in the feature.
I've noticed that the 'Add Areas' and 'Add Lengths' tools function only in the English versions of Revit. They are still compatible with metric template within the English Revit. In the upcoming release, I plan to update these two tools to support all languages available in Revit. In the meantime, if you would like to use them, I can provide a patch fix. Please send an email to Hello@LetsBIMtogether.com specifying the language you require, and I will send it to you. Thank you!
Try this Autolisp script. Basically the same thing except displays dimensions in meters with 2 decimal places (Example: 10.00m x 10.00m) drive.google.com/file/d/1S8v36hrRmqbLNaSkPvNnT_YzA8fiKIhh/view?usp=drive_link
I’ll be honest, I am not the best person for this :D I am not familiar with EN 12831, and even if I invest the time to learn it and create a calculation tool, it would be no use for me as I work on projects only in the USA
I haven’t used this for about a half a year, since I started using only central models (this can’t open local copies of central models). However, if you are trying to use this on a regular project file without collaboration features turned on, this should work fully for Revit 2019-2023. I will see what’s going on, confirm everything is working, and add an update for Revit 2024 support.
Just tested it, and it still works. I suspect you do not have ASP.NET Core Runtime 6.0 installed on your machine which is required for this app. You can download it here: dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/download/dotnet/6.0 (link is also in the READ_ME.txt in the download link)
At the moment no, but I can add that to my todo list :D There is a free renumber tool by CTC that may do that by the way (I haven’t played with it, I just noticed it while considering purchasing other tools they have) help.ctcsoftware.com/BIM/2022/renumbering
Arthur, another great video! I have been following along your CAD tips, and they are transforming and streamlining my work flow. Please keep them coming!
Hello sir, I just want to let you know that I released an update addressing metric compatibility. Also there is a new structural steel browser, you can see it in action here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-je_1wKL0mpU.html To get the update just go to www.LetsBIMtogether.com
Silly of me but working at a small firm in the US I never dealt with metric units in Revit & never thought of testing this toolset in a metric template... I now see that 3 out of the 14 tools are useless in a metric template. In about 3 weeks I will release an updated version with the Total Area and Total Length tools that work in the metric template. It's a quick fix, I just can't get to it for a bit and need Microsoft to bless my release or Windows will shout from the mountain tops that AG tools may be harmful 😑 I will look into updating Scale Calculator too, but it's not a priority since scaling in metric is basically just moving the decimal... Thank you for bringing this to my attention! And also gives me future ideas to cater to metric template users. I will reply to this comment when I upload an updated version.
@@stosto4270 I’m almost done! I will upload it early next week & reply to this comment here also. Thank you for your patience and your interest in this 😎
