I love my loud and deep rumble Roush!! Paired it with a Steeda H pipe. The Corsa sound nice in this video. Usually in person the Corsa extreme sounds way to loud and raspy. Can't go wrong with either one though.
I’d highly recommend either a Toyota 3SGE Beams motor or an F20c. The beams motor is well documented on the Celica forums and there’s a few manufacturers making conversion mounts for them as well. The F20c sits nicely in the engine bay as well but can be pricey nowadays and would require custom made motor mounts.
That's what I like to hear! Good thing is you've won! Please reach out to me via Instagram or via my email in the description so we can get your package shipped out to you!
ik this video is so old but someone please help me. i just dropped 900 dollars on a new heavy duty csc and flywheel so the csc can work correctly. Is it 100% neccesary for me to change the master cylinder too immeditaly or can I wait a week or 2 before i do that. I dont want to damage all the new parts i just bought. and im dead broke now because I literally just bought the car and the csc faily the next day. really need this car back up and running because its my daily. If anyone sees this it would mean the world to me if you could respond
The main reason for changing out the Master Cylinder at the same time is to prevent previously contaminated fluid from the old master cylinder mixing in with the new slave cylinder, and potentially causing the new seal on the slave cylinder to prematurely fail. - The dealership is required to change the Master cylinder anytime a CSC is replaced. I did this because our clutch fluid was badly contaminated with dust and grime from the old seal being bad for longer than we realized. If you do not change the master cylinder at the same time as the slave cylinder then there's honestly not too much of a point in going back two weeks later to swap the master cylinder out. The cross contamination will have already happened. If your fluid was pretty clean at the time of your swap you could take a chance and not swap it out. I simply did it for peace of mind and since my fluid was pretty bad. Hope this helps man!
Congrats man, I had a supercharged s2000 before I got the GT4...I get the comparison, both high revving with great manual transmissions but the GT4 handling and stability is next level. Plus the carbon buckets are so comfy, I had Recaro buckets in the s2000 but they were pretty uncomfortable.
I have yet to drink anything in my GT4. Props to you 😂. I have a hack to keep the valves open. Took 20 minutes and a few zip ties. Hit me up and I will tell ya what to do. It’s like a brand new car with the valves open
I have a napkin ready for if the coffee spills 😂 Appreciate the tips! Did you unplug the vacuum lines? I recently installed a soul exhaust on the GT4! It sounds amazing now, but has quite a bit of drone. Ultimately I’ll probably end up switching to the Kline exhaust system at one point.
Nice car. Well done review. Agree fast mountain roads are awesome! Just completed a 1500 mile trip from flat Florida to Pisgah forest in NC/Smokies area. It was a treat in my Spyder!
@@kineticU The reason I ask, there was a chalk Spyder for sale on the east coast I almost bought before I bought my GT4. Congrats on the purchase! Chalk looks amazing on these cars.
My box didn’t come with instructions… did you have to grind the nubs off the trans front cover at all? Saw that step in a PDF but they may have been an older version… thanks
It's been a few years since this video came out so the process could have changed however, at the time of making this video I did not need to modify the nubs on the trans front cover at all. Everything was bolt in/plug and play.
He's still around! He'll appear in a few episodes this year. Life has simply gotten in the way and him and I no longer live as close to each other as we used to.
Got my 23 about a month ago and I’m already planning the trip. Every new Corvette I buy, I also go to the Corvette Racing School in Nevada. People miss out on these amazing experiences.
Not sure why I didn't see the notice for this video, I have all set on the sub. Great see progress on the S2000. Sometimes there are motors that will fit in as if they are OEM part to the vehicles.
