Get $400 microphone only to redesign it yourself. I got a one couple of years ago and it's just getting dusty on the shelve. But I need a stereo mic, so i'm thinking how to fix it. Most of that noise at 9:44 is produced by Rycote mount itself. So tightening Rycote legs together very well, so they don't move, reducing that noise by some extent. They should have do a hole with 1/4 thread at the bottom, so it can be used without that shaky Rycote. And they should have do detachable cable. And that Rycote mount cannot be used on the camera with gimbal. It's so heavy and shaking, so would disbalance any gimbal.
According to Google this country can hold another 20 million people, so we've got to build more houses rusty..they will buy more shark vacuums and that will be good for the economy. :)
New York City here in the US along with Chicago and Portland, Detroit and Cleveland are wastelands. Its not about the people who live there its the POLICIES their leaders have, and the obtuse direction and vision they have that SUCKS. London can turn around if you put the RIGHT leadership back in. Here, its hopeless for the cities mentioned above. The CORRUPTION is permanently embedded.
I live in northfleet I avoid London ulez is the biggest reason and biggest con going its all about money property is big money 💰 🤑 it's so busy here now with all development time to move west soon
Too many people on the planet 8 billion and counting - planet cant sustain all this -- London I think has 8 plus million (subject to correction) it obvious the pressure this puts on resources and infracture and its all down to bad planning and I suggest brown envelopes and land valuation -- huge problem - 73s from Ireland
i live in the country 1/2 hour from 1 town and 45 minutes the other way another town in western nova scotia love it in capital halifax so much expansion going on wouldn't live there to save my sole..but lot of shit happening around...other night burnt a cop car and cops personal cr another one and damaged a 4th one they were in front of a garage to be worked on around 2 am in the morning about 7 houses from my house ....and arson stealing going on ..cops know who is doing it but can't prove it its only a small hand full ...but eventually they will get caught or someone going to get really hurt ....
Could'a, Should'a, Would 'a ! The first thing you should have done, is to turn off the electrical power to each circuit, one at a time in your own home ! Obviously to see if the noise is being generated in your own home ! As many modern appliances generate electrical noises ! Especially items from China ! Television sets, Touch Lamps, Wall warts, Switching Power supplies, Keurig coffee makers, etc. ! Are all known to make horrible amounts of noise ! Some, like switching power supplies may even move around frequency to frequency ! If you're lucky enough to find the noise in your own home, you simply begin by unplugging things until you find the item, or items generating the noise ! This all may sound simplistic, but the shot gun approach you're using in this video, I doubt will yield much in the way of success ! Hope someone finds this helpful ? Looking for noise outside your home, is a whole other matter ! 👍😉
i've just picked up an ABBA realistic cb radio £5 the ABBA one worked perfect but I can't seem to get anyone on it. Nobody seems to be broadcasting. I'm using a bit of aerial TV antenna cable because I haven't got myself proper antenna yet
Most everyone has 220/240 but it is only used for large appliances such as oven, water heater and cloths dryer, also the house heat and air conditioner.
I sold all my radios last year, the other day a friends dad passed away, he gave me an 897 yaesu an old binatone 5 star , and a mint York 863 , looks like I will be putting another antenna up .
I hope not lol I can’t stand when people ware shoes indoors with people spitting all over the pavement these days you don’t want that on your shoes and walking it indoors!
I haven't got the hat ask Ben to send the hat on its way it's only got to go over the bridge and round the m25 the hat hasn't got too far to walk, it might be able to hitch a ride on a lorry
BEN mate great to go through all the old stuff, and then you can't remember what is what, but it all makes sense at the end of the day, cheers mate love the channel, please put a CB radio in the campervan so when you tell us we're your going and when, would be great. Thanks again for sharing ALL of the CB stuff and more, but mostly make sure you treat people how you would won't to be treated. And the world would be a better place, ps I stole them great words from the one and only king of CB .lol. thanks again BEN later.🇬🇧💯👍
Great hoover and I would loved to know if you are going to get rid of anything to do with CB , remember you got that Kenwood or was it a the yahtzee not sure how you spell it, but if you are selling please let me know , thanks again for all the years you put in to the channel and keep it going, ALAN from Leighton buzzard , NR LUTON 🇬🇧💯👍
Here in my part of the United States our homes use both 120 and 220 volts. I seem to suffer from what my wife calls collection hopping. I see something cool I start a collection. The addiction is real. Great video mate.
Ham radio crash course on Utube did video on noise interference, and had isolated everything in his house by turning off things, and then turned off each item until he had found the one that was causing the problem, he also put ferrite on his outside antenna system, check out Josh at ham radio crash course
@@allangarrity8778 Take the bowl off, remove the pin that holds the float on and then take the float off. The valve should Come out with the float. If not, pull it with some long nose pliers or what ever you can. Then clean the hole and needle. Make sure it’s working and bob’s your uncle you’ve mended it :)
@@RSPYT thanks! got the float valve working - and fuel into bowl - but doesnt seem to be getting fuel through the carb. Will check further and let you know.
Know how you feel Ben.Perfectionist, never throw nothing away, but never really use anything!.Lots of ideas, but never really achieve anything.Everything being beyond our capabilities. You’re not the only one Ben.
It's a cunt of a job!! 🤣 I replaced mine today after watching your video. When I took the hitch off to refurbish it I thought it'd just go straight back on...but no!! I didn't even know there was a damper rod in it, so it was no wonder the bolts weren't going back through. I got a new one because the old one was all rusty and pitted. I kinda refitted it the opposite way from you. I got everything loosely put together at the front, then it was just a case of pushing it in at the caravan end. I used a 3/8th extension bar with a socket on the end and forced it in by hand until I could wiggle the bolt through. 👍
Ben this was the first camper me and my friends went to Glastonbury in the Talbot , and I felt like a pig in shit , sorry but I really did. And when it was over he never used it again. Not even for the next time, hope it goes smoothly for you, and we're is the ssb going to go lol. Take care mate Alan from LUTON ps love the radio Caroline in the background had a pirate station myself back in the day, called pressure FM 101.5 . Now back on ssb lol ,💯🇬🇧👍
