mine lost waterproof state after 3 weeks of use. The store wont even replace them but instead want to refund me which will take days before I get my money back when I need fucken shoes now as I am on leave and want to hike Reply
Very good video, Thank you. I notice that it’s been over 3 years ago that you made this video. Question I have is that after all this time would you recommend this rifle. I’m debating on getting the same rifle except in 300 PRC. Thanks again
I subscribed to your channel; your review was excellent, well-spoken, in-depth, and professor grade quality. I purchased today a used in alleged very good condition Steiner T856R binoculars on Amazon for $549. I think it's a killer deal and will find out if they are in a few days and will test them, especially during dusk/dawn hours. You got a steal deal for $350 on Amazon.
Hope this helps. 300RUM was hands down my favorite cartridge from the time it came out, until a few years ago. I do not have a break, so the recoil was brutal, I reload, BARNES 180TTSX .647 MOA. If I was building a new rifle or moose gun, I'd build a 28 Nosler. Effectivee kill range is still an over kill. Much more pleasant to shoot, and higher BC. Hope this helps
This list is useful too, what you guys think?: *survivalinnature.com/top-10-best-survival-tactical-gloves-for-men?5R* It really helped me choose the right item 5:50
I’m 13 I want to order a Remington 700 in this caliber if I do I want to put a fat bastard muzzle brake on it by APA and mercury recoil compensatores to put in the stock. I am 13 6 foot 140 pounds and currently handle a 35 whelen with a muzzle brake no problem and I’m not recoil sensitive could I handle it ?
Retumbo and 200 gr Accubonds for me and 5 different .300 RUMS I load for seating out to mag length ADG brass and Fed 215 M primers. I like my Fierce CT Edge the best very light as you get older humping up mountains. The Reloader 25 powder is equal as accurate.
You better get some goggles or a face shield till you get a new brake lol! Get an APA fat bastard or a 5 port beast from muzzlebrakes andmore and it will be much nicer to shoot. No debris blown in your face and better recoil reduction. Good job focusing on your fundamentals with a heavy magnum and nice rifle👍
Solid review. A question for you...have you used the mapping and navigation on road and off? Looking to use this on a motorcycle off grid and trying to determine if it can play dual role for navigation gps and SOS. Guessing turn by turn nav is a no go?
Guessing you found out already but yeah it doesn't have turn by turn navigation. Only straight line point to point routes. So you can get a large ball field of where you are going point by point but it's not really affective because it lacks the ability to follow the routes. Since the routes you can to navigate can only be done by using multiple straight lines.
Its the way you shoot or your paralx isnt adjusted proper and your discarding the the bullet to the right of the group wich is between the grains in your group
Yes much heavier bullets r used for 300 rum. I use 200smk or heavier. Retumbo is also my powder of choice. But a lot of people find h1000 to be very good also. At the speeds you are shooting your Barrel will be gone super fast.
What the actual fuck?! 🤦🏻♂️ I have never in my life of shooting firearms see anyone pull the trigger of any rifle if shotgun without their hand gripping the handle grip of the gun, thats the craziest shit i have ever seen someone do when shooting 🤦🏻♂️
Those types of brakes are the best in my opinion. The side port brakes are louder and less efficient. That brake there is about like a Vais brake which are good. My favorite are the kdf brake
Side port brakes are louder but radial brakes are definitely not more efficient than a side port brake, not even close. Then there's the face full or rocks and dirt issue😂🤣😅
im going to say durability 4, comfort 2(took a while to break in and cant wear all day) and water proofing breathability 4, I would buy them again, while they star off stiff and took awhile to break in, they defenetlyy are built to last, I had a set of Columbia hikers never again ripped apart inside after 4 months and waterproofing was garbage.
I have a Panasonic GH4 body. What lenses would you recommend for wildlife photography. I’m located in Wester Washington and most of the year things are wet Thank you
NEVER but one of these watches on Amazon. So many of them are fake. People are sucked in by the low price on amazon have a ton of problems with the watches then leave bad reviews. All the time never knowing they had a fake watch. I have the Blackops 8882. Its an outstanding strong durable watch, super bright at night time. Nothing like the fake ones people had and complained about. I will say the PU watch bands are not so great, they get more comfortable after a few days but I never really liked it. I got a Nato bond style strap and it was much better.
Thx for the vid. The bands are shit. They are one year bands. Had several luminox watches, same result, one year, band breaks. Im lookin now for a black stainless band for the watch you are reviewing. Any recommendations?
I really appreciate this documentary of the Steiner T1042/R binocular....you have captured all the necessary information to make a purchase decision and more. Excellent presentation.
your review is really good, just want to know if we can put waypoints into it or the maping is only for tracking yourself and see your area. i know you can create your path on the computer before you leave, but if i want to find something at a specific coordinate can i put it when im going to be in the field ?? i want to use it for a search and rescue team and we need to put other people location to find them, can i do that with this device? (without using the app on cellphone)
How are they holding up? Durable? How long have you been using them if so? I got the non-reticle version recently and they seem kinda cheapy in hand, I didnt expect the plastic body
I agree. Radial brakes on anything are bad news in my opinion, especially if you're shooting in an environment where the dirt and dust are abundant. I much prefer the the brakes that force the air sideways and downwards.
kmentz2012 Thanks for the comment. The scope is not touching the barrel so there is no need to change the rings. It is a couple millimeters from the barrel but like I said not touching. The rifle does not have an adjustable cheek riser in so having a lower scope helps with getting a good cheek weld.
You actually helped me make my mind up! - i will go for a Suunto, not decided which one yet though, maybe the Core, or tactix Bravo - thanks, Levi from Finland
MrKeys57 I’m glad to hear that. It was kind of a difficult decision for me to make as well. Glad to have the shout out from Suomi. I lived in Helsinki 1 year and love Finland! Kiitos
@@impaktreviews5423 Kiva! we are from Carelia, south part of Finland, now belongs to Russia, Levi (i just ordered the Suunto Core, the all stainless steel version, a bit pricier than the all black, but looks better!)
