I see it as the Holy Spirit does the work, but we are cognitively aware. When evil or a harsh spirit comes into our mind and being, we can began to sing a song, pray for it to go away, recall a scripture. That is how "we" are part of crucifying our own flesh.
To GOD be the glory for this message. Amen! you are so right how the cultivating of the Fruit happens. It is our LORD who does the work in our willing heart. HE is the FRUIT and we eat of it as HE serves. We truly are being perfected in CHRIST JESUS. "The world shall recognized "HIM, CHRIST" in us by HIS FRUIT in us. Hallelujah!
I am super pumped about the idea of connecting with kids/youth/and gamers in general as a mission field. I currently do a lot of table top gaming, so board games and card games. Sometimes I go and play at different game stores in town. I have found multiple times to share my faith with the other gamers that I have met at these places. I hope that maybe the Lord will continue to use the hobby of board gaming/table top gaming in the future and maybe open some more opportunities to spread the Gospel of Christ while playing board games with non-believers.
